I have been informed that the new owners of Haynes Publishing in the U.K. are discontinuing publication of all written books, including these manuals on aircraft. They might live on as ebooks, but even that is questionable considering that all works that were in progress (including books on the B-47 and DC-10) have been stopped. So get 'em while you can!

Note that the term "Owners' Workshop Manual" on these is an exaggeration; it is impossible to actually service an aircraft using the information within. The term "Enthusiasts' Manual" would be more correct.

Also, some of the books shown had not been published yet and are now unlikely to appear, including (as previously mentioned) the DC-10, as well as the Hawker Typhoon, D.H. Sea Vixen, H.P. Victor and E.E. Lightning.

Is there any link of these? I've search in the Haynes site but i couldn't find anything about these, nor the automotive, like Ford GT40, Ferrari engines etc.

    Thank you in advance.

Make sure you're looking on Haynes' British site; you won't find anything on their American site. Also, a fair number of the books shown above are out-of-print; you're better off looking on Amazon.

Actually only the turret came from Porsche; the chassis was by Henschel.

Yes, i was looking the other site. I've found them on the British site. I'll take a look on Amazon too.

    Thank you.

    Oh, hell.

I was just about to start the teardown of my SR-71, too.
    Better ask the owners club.
