Several manufacturers make F1 and FIA regulated F1racing suits & Nomex suits.

The one Grosjean was wearing is by AlpineStars.

I still hate how the thing looks. Really ugly.

Another point is, why was all the guardrails exposed? Why wasn't there any tyre barriers around?

That part of the track, the organizers along with the FIA, didn't see any additional protection other than an Armco barrier at that part of the track.

Currently, they still have the 8 red & white barrier segments that replaced the original Armco barrier.

Yeah, I agree that tire barriers are a "safe" bet strewn all along the track.

I'm sure going forward, Armco will get replaced by tire barriers at certain sections of tracks regardless if no incidents have ever happened.

I think, armco should not be visible at all around the track. There's no way we can predict which area is more accident prone, than the other. Just install the tec barriers and tyre barriers throughout.

before he got rescued? He saved himself. Nobody went in those flames and rescued him. (of course, his dumb ass turn to the right got him there in the first place)

It's not about going into the flames, etc. The guys were there to assist him, check on him aftermath.

Fairly interesting computer analysis of the Grosjean crash without all the flame, smoke, steam and debris........
    Seems fairly accurate.
