The FXX K Thread

I know you guys as I race in the Challenge series. When we stop, you start... killing our ears never a calm weekend with you guys around

 

Same blue, and same blue carbon. The yellow on the FXXK is Modena Yellow where the LF is Giallo Tristrato.

My wife came up with the nose design, and I also like it.

i guess modena is right given the lineage of xx cars you have, but i love the triple yellow on your lafe ( and usually i am not a big fan of yellow car), goes extremely well with that dark blue.

 

Congratulations Ben. She looks amazing. Very nice stable mate for the 599XX Evo.

Enjoy Spa next week. Would have loved to come and watch you guys in action but couldn't reschedule a business trip. Duty calls … sad I'll miss seeing the FXXK in action at my home track

 

For Ben or Peter, how much harsher is the ride of the FXXK compared with LaFerrari? Is it uncomfortable on rough sections of track?

 

Congratulations - she's a beaut! Worth "going around the block" a few times to get a decent parking spot, too, right?!

To be honest, here in Europe most tracks are pretty smooth so that is a difficult question to reply to. The LaF - in Euro settings - is an amazingly comfortable car - I have done a 900 km journey in it, stopping only for fuel and not been destroyed upon arrival.

The K is very comfortable as far as racing cars go, but to try to compare them is like comparing apples and oranges!!

The Blue is Blu Scuro; its shade matches the blue C/F quite well.

Will it be possible to compare p1 gtr and fxxk's times on the same track anytime soon?

 

To get a real comparison you would need to run the cars on the same track on the same day as the temperature plays a huge rôle!! More than that it would need to be at the same time of day as track times can vary very significantly from morning to afternoon as a function of temperature, wind, pick up etc.

Then you'd need to have the same driver....

So to be honest I doubt that this will become reality any time soon!!

Peter or Ben....Do you guys plan to run Friday Saturday and Sunday in New Orleans. I basically have one day to spare from work and I'm trying to catch as much FXXK action as possible. Any day you recommend? Looking forward to it!
