Of course every engine is different, as are the conditions under which they are tested. Direct comparisons of just a couple of engines don't tell us all that much, but with enough samples we could start to get a much better idea of what works and what doesn't. It's your car and you're paying for the tests so you can do with them what you will, but I'm not sure what is gained by withholding the graphs. Just makes it that much more difficult for everyone else trying to find the most expedient path. Don't know why I started looking at this thread again in the first place-- I gave up on it being truly useful early on.

    Yup.

Until I get a single stand alone ecu installed, that modification is done.

Let me assure you that we have done this and the jury is home with their families. Stock with a better single can exhaust 284 HP. Add Goth exhaust and all the stuff we described here and its 302 HP. Tim's car should pull a little bit more (304 HP), like Ernie's did due to the taper in their TB's. My TB bore was straight cut and about 0.50 mm narrower. On a Dynapak.

And Tim's numbers are only pertinent to Tim's engine. The difference is the main datum. The actual numbers are relative. Still, Timmy-boy, I'd post everything, but that's just me. Of course, those Mustangs are murder on your ego... ;)

I've never cared about peak numbers, but more about the area under the curve. That's where dyno graphs are nice to see.

My stock with test pipes and a single can muffler 294 hp. With TB's, Fabspeed headers, ported intake and plenum with new injectors and custom chips 305. About $1,000.00 per HP. Ferrari did not lesve much on the table. Ported TB's and Beta1 chips is the way to go IMHO.

Nice port matching intake to heads is a wonderful thing. Stooges will see the numbers at a stoogefest so we can recon on them :)

I backpedaled a little this round. Stock headers, ported TB's. Chips, port matched heads to intake cleaned runners. The stock intake manifold in my eyes is 1980's GM quality LOL.
I say that as the cranckcase ventilation system left signs of bad flow, eddy's in a few runners.

ITB's should fix this right up

Bigger valves. Need bigger valves. And more and longer lift.
Til then, a bigger carburetor (figuratively) won't help much, if any.
    Just my opinion.

I suppose that isn't surprising given the stock management config and proximity of those opposing throttle bodies. Would it be beneficial to do an enlarged but bank-independant plenum arrangement? Perhaps repositioning the throttle bodies to flow and manage velocity to the outer cylinders better?

Wow. Were these ever fitted? Also do you have the upper manifolds that go on this? Just wondering what else I would need to make a setup like this work. Obvioulsy the 355 airboxes, possibly adapt the 348 MAF's etc.

I understand this would probably benefit from an aftermarket ecu as the 348 computer would probably not run this setup as notbody would be able to tune it (atleast not here in australia)
