Wow... never knew there were so many more GTSs made, its usually the coupes that are more abundant.

Interestingly - the 348 owner used to work on exotic machinery for HR Owen in London. I think he actually may still have some involvement with them. He does his own work on the 348 including engine out jobs - impressive considering the 348 is one of the most inaccessible F-cars to work on - basically the suspension needs to be unbolted to get the engine out and the engine needs to be out for cambelt replacement.

 

Wow. He is the person we were talking about lately. I know somebody in Paris who also does service his own Fs, including several 400 412 (5 of them), 2 348s. I have some pictures from the workshop somewhere.

 

Ptak, and your specialization in Exotic Cars, what does it consist in? are you the only one doing a master in this or? And whatabout the exit route? What kind of job you think you can apply for?

It is a car show. Just it's a pity it is again kind of half achieved one.

The volga (is it one?) is really ugly. And the "Phantom" is a US model that was made for some NBA player, and was for sale a while ago on Ebay, iirc. It makes me want to throw up.

Wow, sorry. Must've missed the 2 Ferrari pics :/ But the general impression of the place isn't too good - a lot of "bling".

 

It's amazingly ugly. Somebody bought it in Moscow?

edit: nice girls and the Arnage was in a nice color combo.

 

There were two Volgas - the first one was based on a BMW 850i. This one I think is a rebodied new shape BMW 6 series. I have seen other photos where it actually looks quite good and the work is quite professional. As for the other cars - seems that Russian millionaires share their good taste with West Coast drug dealers, pimps and rappers...

True, but this is a different company. You can see the one from the show was made by Autolion. The 2 you're refering to were made by A: Level (and are much nicer IMO).

Originally from Wroclaw, where the apartment has no garage. Thus....all the toys are in California, where I spend most of the year:

02 Maserati Coupe GT
63 Ferrari 250 GTE
67 Cadillac deVille Convertible (same birth year as I)
03 For Expedition ("tow vehicle")
06 Orbea (pedal-powered, getting ready for a 100 mile ride in the hilly Wine Country).

I will be back in Poland in the summer of 2008, and I will come back for a longer holiday for the euro championships. Wroclaw is supposed to play host to a fe matches.

Poland is only missing an F1 track, no?

I just checked and I was pm'ing you in November 2005 . Since then I've also taken the plunge with a 328 now in my garage.

No F1 track in Poland yet but if all goes well I should have some interesting F1 related photos to post Sunday morning ;-)

Compared to 2 years ago this place is teeming with Polish activity these days anyhow. Witamy w nowej Europie.

The truth is, Poland needs some nice and restored race tracks. Holowczyc & cie were very kind but i'm kinda tired of only rally/slalom competitions.
