Interesting Design. Where is the inlet for the air supply coming from? Looks to be somewhere in front of the rear wheel or is it coming from on of the NADA inlets on the bottom floor panel? One large box to feed two air intakes and it makes 12hp! Have you ran it on the open road yet to see how it breathes? Anyone purchsed an of the Ferrari gloves for driving? Ciao, SRR
The Volume its a bit Larger but not too much, the increase comes from that,from the second air inlet(more air)and from descrease of Heat,something that the Original suffered from! It has 2 Inlets, one is the Original and one comes from the Diffusor and are two Boxes left and Right so 4 Inlets. I drive the System more than a year and it has a lot of changes since then through developing,im still slow because I did everything in my Garage exept the Welding stuff. Themis
Don't own one, but I have a good suggestion. Best mod for a 355 is the for sale sign, followed by the purchase of a 348.
COMING SOON: Working on 355 interior trim pieces as a complete set made from aluminum like material, which you will be able to powdercoat, paint or brush. Pieces will include a complete center console (maybe the ashtray also,) cluster housings, door panel pieces, AC vents, switches and other misc. pieces that may need attention after 15 years of use. I have the SRI gold connector kit....I have spent more than $100K in rare/exotic/custom 355 parts from all over the world inluding many Michelotto items, but the gold connector kit is the best money I've spent to date......thanks Dave for developing a kit that really makes a difference in performance/reliability.
And safely store your originals, with the original mats and wheel center caps (NLA) and use caps from a 360. All are required for concours.
For looks, I go for 430 wheels & tires, airbag delete interior, indented fender shields & clear turn signal indicators. This is US Spec car originally sold new in Beverly Hills:
