Neither of us know the production numbers, so we can leave that one alone. As far as looks go, I do agree that SF90 looks better, just not $250k better. Anyway, different strokes for different folks!

Feel free to find those tests online. These are reputable publications. The Quattroruote numbers have also been posted on this forum.

  3. With turbo charging the number of cylinders and displacement almost becomes secondary.

  4. The 296 may be a better car, may be faster and may even have the better engine.

But I would still want the SF90 over the 296, if given the choice.

I was not, and had to settle for the 296.

Ok great VBOX is accurate pls post the results with the video .. there is nothing wrong with our cars as we have tested over 10 cars not just mine. it’s probably your testing that’s off. If you don’t have the data to post your claim is not valid.

This was Brooks from dragtimes testing his car and you can see the numbers for yourself. These are real world tests not pumped up magazines bullshitting us to praise the manufacturer.

sorry you act like a troll, what is ******** ing you, Realzeus stands correct quatto rout had the sf90 on 16.4 sec (if remember well) up tp 300kmh, your beloved 296 grb needed 18,5 sec for that in Sportauto. Different days diff condition for sure..

You remeber me to former user Il-copilota..
If „your“ Sf90 manage only 4,2sec with downpipe 100-200kmh, i stand to my word you probably have a lemon, or a tuner wich thinks with adding downpipe in a complex hybrid car you automaticly increase the power output, without any adaption on e-motors power delivery system, or you test „your“ Sf90 in an extremly high density altitude..

And for sure brooks car is on the heavy side, must be at least 70-80kg heavier than for example mine..
wich translate easy in around 0.3sec 100-200kmh.

This is probably gonne be endless here..

You can’t post your claimed 100-200k time of 4.05 sec ?? It’s pretty obvious you are the troll !! Believe what you want you have zero data !! And yes all our cars are lemons .. Ciao

this sentences from you says all about it:
No car in the world has managed that time.

so you know all of us owner, and know all what are running. Sorry pointless. that is, or just arrogant?

It looks to me that you wanne prove and convince as hard as you can that the 296gtb is faster then the Sf90.
Wonder where this is coming from, maybe to valid your pourchase, something lese?
    sounds pretty fishi, isnt it?

The point is you coming up with times you are running, on that specific day, condition etc. what is valid for you, istn for the others an vica versa. Accept it or not.

“Fishy”? You do realize he owns both cars, correct?

Doesn’t it make sense that a person who owns or has owned both cars is probably going to be less biased than someone who only owns one of them?

So true, I’ve never seen such a ‘validate purchase’ as 296 owners, it’s hysterical! I own an AF SF90 Coupe and as hard as 4 dealers in 3 countries try to get me to purchase a 296 of any form that have no luck. They have thrown the kitchen sink at it, think I’ve had at least 8 days use in their 296 demos and no, it’s a v6, really awkward looking and too expensive, and to end this argument my side, from my butt in the seat of both, the AF SF90 Coupe is clearly faster than the 296 in any form. Not important anyway, but this 296 v SF90 is totally ridiculous and tells me Ferrari got a problem if there is this form of rivalry. The SF90 VS will demonstrate tomorrow how SF90 range is a different league, and what a bargain a Used SF90 with AF is.

The amount of people who are threatened by the 296 in this thread is simultaneously surprising and hilarious!

So Quattroroute got 4.1 and the video with dragy got 4.2. All sounds reasonable to me. The 296 is likely to be a tad slower overall. It’s just logic. Ferrari are not stupid. They won’t make a £150k more expensive V8 slower than the V6.

We will have three SF90s once VS arrives. I think I prefer the look of the 296 (sorry to say - even though I love the SF90 looks). But the SF90 is ballistic and does have more presence. The original video the thread started with showed the same. It’s clear to me the 296 is the slower car, which sounds odd because it’s still very very quick.

I never understood the bickering over fractions of a second in a straight line race, these cars are made for cornering not drag racing, if the 296 is faster or equally as fast on a race track than it's worth noting that, that's the most relevant comparison because both cars have been designed for that purpose.

  21. No, no, you have it all wrong.

These cars are made for driving slowly to Cars & Coffee, and then driving slowly back and plugging it back on the battery tender.
