Its not that big of deal and not worth starting a new thread over. Again, you can cover the new subject of day to day fluctuations in a new thread if it bothers you that this one drifts from time to time. Its all good buddy Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Yes please. It’s clearly off topic. Whatever happened to that turbo TR you said you were going to build anyway, Mossy?
Hey Jaybird, its on hold. Busy with the new one. There is a thread on that though so stay tuned! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
https://www.motorcarclassics.com/1988-ferrari-testarossa-c-497.htm Turns out the TR on fchat for sale is an amazing example. At least to me. 2 owner, first one being BO JACKSON and seems to have been part of a private collection. There are maybe 1 or 2 per year that comes out this nice at that price... I mean 99k for THAT car is amazing, most would ASK 120-130k.
I agree. And reading the sellers post he’s very motivated to sell as he doesn’t have the room for all the extra cars given his garage space. He’s not worried about getting an extra 10-20k because he’s a very motivated seller. These are the kinds of people I love to buy from because they won’t list their cars above market and sit forever. You watch this car will sell fast.
Absolutely ! There isn’t much to negotiate if it passes PPI ,i mean most dealers I have seen advertised the car to test the market at 140-150, then 6 months in drop it to say 130 which kinda tells u they want 120k and the car is likely 110-115... but this the way to sell fast! Actually, even more rare than most think because the shade of yellow used on the MOMO special edition cars was only used on those 6 cars.
That is correct. I noticed you had the red and yellow interior. Momo was a rare one for sure. What is the value now?
The later Special Edition Diablos really don't have any value premium, in part because the post '99 Diablos are so rare anyway. The only value add is all the carbon fiber they featured, and the paint shade. These days, there isn't any such thing as a sub-$200k '99 Roadster.
Time for a thread specific for day to day TR sales. Although it would for many be less exciting than watching grass grow it would serve the purpose that is exciting for you. The subject of this thread was to discuss a 40-50k TR that has since long died. This thread has since been down many roads. I sense it will continue to be just that. Enjoy the ride. I for one enjoy a break. Life is too short to get hung up on these brief chats Nat. Peace my friend. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I think u like to bicker on there: -1 ban for the turbo thread within this thread -1 ban for fighting with Feralc -1 with Jay R. If diablo are indeed of interest they are not for this particular thread; I’m not here to police u, mod u or fight u; it’s not a day to day tr thread, it’s price trends period; the original thread was changed a long time ago and was Testarossa price sinking taking about diablo is awesome but pretty much off topic plain and simple. No need to argue it gets nowhere, I for one should know as I tried with Boke and it got us both banned. Peace Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Like I said, enjoy the ride Nat. No use racking up another ban for both of us. You have your share as well, lol. We can agree to disagree on this subject. Pretty silly. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
