Well we have gotten way off subject. You guys carry on. Whoops, gotten is improper grammar! Dang Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Yes I called you out for your childish grammar shot against one of the most valuable members of this board. No one cares about your comment. We are talking Ferraris. Geez can we move on here..... Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
That is gmonsen's old car. It had extensive work done to it. Beautiful work... Motec computer, new injectors, ignition, headers, exhaust and custom fuse board. The tobacco brown interior was also swapped to black. I'd want the stock engine parts but this is a nicely tuned TR. The classiche book means nothing.
MOSS and ferralc - If you each insist on the last word, this will never end. 7 day thread bans for namecalling and bickering.
Yes based on That seems like a good TR upgraded but how the heck did it pass classiche lol Ridiculous classification it seems! Im curious about his headers work, what did he do ? Do u know? What improvement from the injection? Pretty cool! Maybe they have the parts too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They probably did the classiche first when the car had all its original parts. Got it certified and then added all the after market stuff. That’s the only thing that makes sense.
Hi Nat, Here's the link to his build: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/my-new-87-testarossa.543122/ More header stuff on page 2. Impressive work. Moss, You might want to contact this guy to build your headers. Looks like he has a jig to make more.
Read through the all thing. Pretty cool. He says the redline is now 7700? That’s like 1k rpm above, isn’t that bad for the engine? Im actually interested as he put the big bucks in it. Crazy he said he was in at 175k in the car and now asking price 112 so a 63k loss . Of course the 175 includes his mods . I’ll contact them to see how much they want for it. TR is an amazing car, put aside the clutch which can be heavy and lack of power steering whic can also be a pain, it is fun, low to the ground, the noise is great and although I love my ff I had more fun in the TR as it’s power is way more usable Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
find the best tr and try and get a fair price on it.its so undervalued get on it get your self a xmas gift

Back on Topic, Just an FYI -https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1988-ferrari-testarossa-manual/OAG-AD-16061089/?Cr=1 AUD$348K (USD$236K) https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1988-ferrari-testarossa-manual/OAG-AD-17313611/?Cr=2 AUD$325K (USD$221K) There are a few more on there however it does not give an indication of the value locally; only the level of the bar that the "purveyors of exclusivity" feel is high enough for them to keep the status quo. just my opinion. Cheers Pete K
What do you think is the story behind the wheels on the red Barrett Jackson model? Never seen a TR with polished wheels like those (attached) as factory original so I questioned them.. Their response was to the effect of: “don’t worry, wheels are just aesthetic and polish was popular in the 80s and 90s” Unbelievable imo Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lol, branching off to caveats of the subject is pretty normal, especially a subject this long and old. You can't start a new post every time that occurs. We are all just enjoying the big picture with conversation. Would I would like to see is everyone's picture and real name when they post. That's when it gets real.
Correction, What I would like to see. Dang, didn't realize the thread would collapse after that statement, hahaha Let the masquerade continue!
