DISCLAIMER: **This only applies to US, SA, and CH88 cars. I purchased 2 new charcoal canisters, PN 114675 from Maranello to replace my originals. The replacements are from a different vendor, exact in form/fit/function but different cosmetically. I'm sure they are fine replacements and for the judge that can get his eyes down there they will be acceptable as they are the currently supplied parts from Ferrari. I later stumbled on an eBay auction for NOS Fiat canisters, PN 4442162. The photos and description looked identical to my originals so I picked them up.

The new Ferrari canisters are made by DAYCO, with different markings and a light pebble-finish. The NOS Fiat canisters are made by the same OEM as my original Ferrari canisters, an Italian company shown as A (diamond) R. These are exact replacements, with a smooth finish. The new Ferrari canisters were ~$37.00 ea., and the NOS Fiat were $30.00 ea., so not much of a difference price-wise.

those thermostats you may get in every radiator repair shop.
take one old with you because of the dimensions and show them.
but may be the opening temperature would be a little different.

and don´t tell them that this is for a F, otherwise they just will raise the price 3 times and more :)

If you break your clutch hose fitting on the top of the clutch master cylinder (the hose from the brake master reservoir connects to the clutch master) the 90 degree plastic fitting can be replaced by BMW part number 21-52-1-151-697. The original is white and a 90 degree bend while the BMW is black and an 80 degree bend. Still, as the Ferrari item is not sold separately at $7.99 it is cheaper than a new clutch master.

Searching for "0 331 303 033" on the O'Reilly website says that BWD S5402 is also a match. I called O'Reilly and they said the BWD unit has actually been replaced by Import Direct Ignition part #31-0209.

    http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/IDI0/310209/01931.oap?year=1980&make=BMW&model=733i&vi=1012633&ck=Search_01931_1012633_-1&pt=01931&ppt=C0330

It's more expensive than the WAI units at $58.99... but they have a price-match policy if you can find it somewhere cheaper, and the best part is that there is a lifetime warranty on the part. So when (not if) it eventually fails again because it's still getting heat-soaked due to its location... keep your receipt and get unlimited replacements!

And it's a good thing I checked before I went shopping.

The starter solenoid in my 92 512TR has "0 331 303 032" on it! So I'm guessing they were using up old stock before switching over to the 033. Another reminder that it's best to get eyes on first. These are small production, hand-built cars, folks. :)

I posted about this a while back but decided to go through a full hot summer before putting it here in the cross reference thread.

I bought for my Testarossa a starter solenoid ZM-576 instead of a WAI 66-9131, and it is a perfect fit. i've never had another hot starter issue ever since I installed it. ZM solenoids seem to be a lot easier to find, at least here in Europe. The WAI 66-9131 solenoid is impossible to find on the web.

So here is a new cross reference for the problematic TR solenoid!

Late 1990+ TR Clutch Throw Out bearing. Fpimp $750, Maranello Classics $477.

Below is a cut and paste from a thread discussing said bearing.

    http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/i...ps5791ef3c.jpg

If you peel of the Ferrari label, it says Maranello Classics. They list the bearing on their web site for $477. Nice mark up Ferrari......A**holes. As least we know where to get the bearing at the best price. Now we need to find out who makes the bearing for Maranello Classics and go directly to the source.

Ferrari OEM carcover for 360 and 430 fits perfect on 512 TR.
If you buy 430 cover you have 430 logo printed on left mirror "ear".
I have the 360 cover on mine below.

I replaced by AC compressor. A direct replacement is
    Murrey 58046 $280 from O"Reilly
If you plan to switch to 134A, then the fittings are
    Murrey 14720 and 14718.

    all fit perfectly
