Might as well put my car in the registry too. 1985 USA TR red/tan with 6K original miles. Car #59499. Thanks, Ken
nice car lucito, registered here since 2,5 years, only 2 posts and no introduction? would be great if you could introduce yourself a little. thanks
Hi turbo-joe, apologies i'd have done that without you prompting me. Have enjoyed several Ferraris in the last 15 or so years, pretty always one at a time and going from a very short stint with a 308 GTB (1976) to a 208 turbo (first series), 355 GTS, 308 GT4 and lastly a 208 intercooler (second series). In between those red cars (they were really all red) I even had a 911 turbo (2006), a really good car but... didn't warm the blood up... so i went back to the red ones. Then a month or so ago I tested a 512 TR for curiosity and bought it a week later. Did part-exchange my 208 intercooler, which I thoroughly enjoyed for 2 years. Really this is my first 'excursion' in the 12 cylinder territory having always driven before a V8. The 'turbos' have always been confined to the Italian market and are not well known abroad unlike the TR, thus I thought of sharing my car's details and picture in this TR forum. Planning to drive, drive and drive her again, hopefully won't have too many bad surprises and the value won't go down over time but still top priority is DRIVING! Glad you like it, compared to the others here.... looks pretty normal... to me it looks sublime !!! Finally my daily drive is a Lexus ISF (2009), luckily the family does not mind the stiff shock absorbers and I enjoy each single drive (you know when we were 18 and we took any chance to drive dad's car ?????). Thanks and arrivederci !
thanks for the info Lucito but the turbo you had I would never give this rare car away so you are located in italy?
Pictures will come. Before I bought the car, I checkt F-Register and noticed the same. After some correspondence with Matthias Urban from F-Register, they noticed their mistake, and corrected the mistake in the database. Perhaps you have a book, not the newest version? But I am happy, that there are some persons, who keep a careful watch on such things. Thanks.
Hi Turbo-joe, I know it is tough to sell any F. Still don't want to keep more than one thus .... the sacrifice Live in London but have the family in Italy thus lots of back and forward. Ciao.

I didnt read this thread (yet) but I have a question: Does anyone know if Rod Stewart had a white Testarossa (VIN ZFFSG17A7J0076407, UK plate in 1988 and exported to Portugal in 2009)?
Fritz, thank you! This discrepancy has been resolved, once and for all! Thank you! Actually, I have 76407 as a white Testarossa, and I have 76407 as being the ex-Rod Steward car. F430Modena, do you have any information that suggests Stewart's (ex-)Testarossa is a different serial number?
