Do you live in Europe? My little electric car costs the equivalent to run of a petrol car doing 1.5l/100km Sounds cheap to me! Mind you, so far it's depreciated $15-20k. I don't know how that compares to a Beemer that uses petrol. But you were talking about running costs.
