To me it is like trying to compare apples and pears - they are both fruit but they look different and produce different results. The tdf is a honed F12 and it comes down to personal choice, the emotional impact and for some, money if the comments are anything to go by.

I have driven both a lot and I own a tdf, which I prefer over the F12, as I find it a more pure experience. I also find it more stable in the wet, which surprises me. It is also, eye achingly beautiful (see photos).

i don’t miss the front brake flaps as they periodically fail.

At the end having either car, or indeed any Ferrari, is a pleasure to be embraced.

Thank you for your perspective. I would say based on your number plate that I would "Listen like thieves" to your post, because the TDF is "The One Thing" which is "What you need" when you feel the "Devil inside"- it so good, its always a "New Sensation" :)

What a great sentence and you are right the number plate reflects the tdf and my personalities- we are both excessive compulsives

    Here is a bonus!

I have both the F12 and the tdf and in my opinion the latter has better handling and is far more exhilarating. Two cars with different missions

I 100% agree with this statement. I no longer have my F12 but do still have the TDF. I can say the TDF is such a raw experience that the F12 doesn't provide. F12 is a phenomenal car but very different. Every time I consider selling the TDF, I know that I will regret it. The direction that the brand is headed makes me believe there will not be another car quite like the TDF, will be interesting to see what happens with the 812 lightweight model.

Black "air tunnel part + lower front bumper + front engine Vent + door knob" (done/could be done) as a Spec by ferrari?

As a driver, I prefer the F12. That is the one Ferrari I own that I can almost drive daily. I only treat myself when I take out the 599. I don't drive it too often. Its just a kick in the pants. The sound is the one thing that stands out more than anything. I only have 750 miles on that car, so I really don't get the most out of it. I have a few cars I drive and a few I cherish and enjoy just having.
I hope that makes (kinda) sense

Armen, watching UR red head GTO makes me want to smile in joy:)
Frankly, I guess if I had to choose between a GTO and TDF to add to my collection, eventhough the age and Tech difference, I would have a very hard time to decide (with a little more tendency towards the GTO at the moment).
    Enjoy in great health,,,

So cool and they also provided a video about how they made that model.
