Great but you know it's that cheesy Borletti fan switch that has always bugged me. Not really the knob, just the tinny sound it makes and the cheap tactile feel you get from it.
I had a local Instagrammer ask if he could snap a few pics of my car. These are my snaps during his shoot. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

First post. I’ve had this for decades (!) and still consider it one of the most beautiful cars by Ferrari. All original and complete down to the windshield wipers and dealer serviced all though its’ life (still is and more on top of that too). Utterly reliable and a real joy. You see, there seem to be more longtime owners, than those we know. All potential contributors and/or buyers for "The Book" BTW. I purchased my car one year prior to 'buying' Internet with a 128kB modem @308 GTS QV; I look forward to anecdotes from you about your ownership. Best from Germany Martin
Thank you for the kind welcome. I was looking for some part information and found this site. I almost wasn’t an owner. Finding a completely original, properly maintained 308, was a lot harder than I ever expected. I went through at least a couple dozen and that was a long time ago. Nearly gave up looking. The one I bought was from a family that had been buying Ferraris “since the beginning”, according to one dealer I met, and it was only by luck.
Thank you very much. I think he texted what told me: "Sir, It's the first time I inspect a car with an undercarriage that is even more shining than the body paint!". That car never got the rain after the full restore. Ciao
Thanks! But the really impressive feature of that car is the sight from below, where everything looks (and is) new Ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was at Silverstone in 1980 to watch Villeneuve and Scheckter haul the slow 312T5 around the fastest circuit on the calendar. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
