So happy for you - that's a heck of a gift to yourself after years of hard work - aint it great Jealous you have a carbon fiber cup holder - the epitome of extremity - Only kidding but I love it - now you have me thinking - I just spent hours on line trying to find a Tour de France or Blue Pozzi F12 - the bug is bitting
John, gonna get an F12 now? No more bug for the FF? F12 is SOOOOO much better looking. If you aren't gonna use the back seat (and you still have the 612 for that) why do the FF? Bundy - we need to meet up some time and grab a bite. I gotta see the F12. That thing is stunning man! I'm just down the road.
Sounds good, Eric. We're in Louisville all the time. I think they may be painted in Nero Elkann. I may see if some sort of nero door handles are an option for the 488 GTB via EC, outside of TM. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yup - bug over for the FF - it was only one in particular that I wanted - will need to move something out of the garage if I get an F12 - can't get rid of my daughters Lotus Excige or my wife Mas GTS - too good of a car to give away - so that leaves the Scud or 612 - there is the quandry
I live in Nashville and miss seeing Ian's F12 at Cars and Coffee, so if you ever have the time, you should bring it down
Maybe wait a year and sell the 2008 612 - absolutely in perfect shape - just can't sell the Scud - got it in 2008 with 300 miles on it - 9,000 now -way too many family memories at the track Suggestion #2 is too much trouble and expense to duplicate this(I know I should have built it bigger) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
More - we entertain in the garage a lot while dinner is set in the house - I'm the fat guy sitting down with the blue shirt Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I will certainly try to do that. 🙏🏼 I don't see a fat guy! But I do see a happy family and gorgeous timber garage! We're out of garage space, too. Fortunately, we have ten acres so I'm thinking of building a separate steel and glass garage behind the house. Something like this maybe. Would let me see the cars from the backyard. That looks like a great idea - other then the glass, does not look out of sight expensive - steel I beams - That would be very cool with the uneven elevations in the mountains but would not fit in with my present theme - also don't think it would fit in with my wife's attitude
Your log / timber home is beautiful and perfect for the Smoky Mountains. We have a beige sandstone and charcoal slate clad Country French home, so this steel/glass idea is definitely different. I think it could work aesthetically if I keep the steel and floors in an earth tone. Simpler and less expensive than recreating a mini-me version of our home. Just sourcing our stone eight years ago was an odyssey. It comes from a particular small quarry in Oklahoma. Apologize for venturing off topic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Great thread. Congrats to your success and thanks for sharing. It makes me want to trade in one of my v8 Ferraris for a na v12 f12b in gf, gt or cdf in the future.
Thank you. A handbuilt na V12 Ferrari engine is special, and one reason why I also sought out an FF. I also plan to spec a future car in cdf.
Can anyone tell me if Grigio Ferro is a. Considered an Out Of Range color, b. If Out of Range what the upcharge is? c. Is Grigio Ferro different than Grigio Alloy? Thanks all,
Grigio Ferro is a historical colour out from the normal range. I think it was around 12.000 USD. And of course ferro is different to alloy! There is a warm goldish champagne tone in it.
According with the great resident specialist Olivier (Grigio Captain) Grigio ferro are three colors in one.
I believe they have changed the color a little in the past year or two. The older GF was a little warmer and the newer color is a little cooler. I liked the older color better.
