I thought I saw Andy and Fender trying to hitch a ride the other day. lol J/K Everyone remember to take lots of pics and videos. I will not be attending the event since I will be in Bristol TN in the pits for a race on Saturday to help one of my friends with his car. Plus Sunday I will be at the Lakehouse in Dandridge TN with my parents since I haven't seen them in a long time. Have fun and be safe !! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Weather for sat according to accuweather.com as of 3/31 Saturday 4/2 Considerable cloudiness High 53 ° F We should be alright.....but it might rain friday on the way up.
The Eagle has Landed ! Lots of Ferraris are now safely tucked into the Grove Park Inn. The drive up was a little wet, but tons of fun! Eddie's 550 with a Tubi and a Tubi Center Pipe is simply earth shattering. Tomorrow, we hit the Dragon. -Daniel
to blow exams off or not to blow exams off... THAT is the question... grrrrrrrrrrrr... mom and dad get to have all the fun! Make sure you get plenty of pictures of the Parking lot everyone. I would like to know what I'm missing when I finish my exams late next week.
I got a PM from Lee today and he is bringing his Black 308 out on Saturday to join in on the fun at the Dragon. Also he is possibly bringing a few other Ferrari guys in their F-cars following him from the Knoxville TN Area.
GUYS-I SHOULD BE AT THE GROVE PARK BETWEEN 7-7:30 AM TOMORROW. IF YOU GUYS LEAVE EARLY, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. DAVID SHOULD HAVE MY NUMBER. I WILL SEE YOU IN THE MORNING. AS A SIDE NOTE, THE LOCAL WEATHER MAN IS CALLING FOR SNOW IN THE HIGH MTS OF NC...I COULD CARE LESS HOWEVER!!!! -JAY
You boys getting a little weather up there I hear. Looks clear and sunny for Sunday, enjoy. Stop by Franklin if you want on the way home, BBQ closed Sunday, we'll figure something!!!! Uro
Whoa.... snow, ice, sleet, rain. Guess what? The Ferrari didn't melt, and all have returned safely to the Grove Park Inn after our alpine adventure. Pictures to come later. -Daniel p.s And our friend JDAVID? He was the FIRST one to turn back. I guess a 348CH just can't handle a little inclement weather.
Guys-I had a great time....Quite a gathering of Ferrari's. Next time I will attach a snow plow to the Spider!!! -Jay
Great gathering of cars......SH1TTY weather! I was second to turn back followed by 4 others and I don't feel bad at all........it was amazing to see how well 17 ferrari's/porsche/bmw did in the snow. You don't see that every day! We are headed back tomorrow in much smaller numbers, but it should still be a good time if the weather holds out.
