News report says 61 yr old driver lost control, drove with right side into guard rail, then veered to left into left guard rail, spun, etc.
Happened late Saturday afternoon. Don't think it was speeding. In that section of motorway (which I know very well) the speed is limited to 80 and 100 km/h and there are cameras everywhere, also the usual Swiss speed traps, plenty of them. Maybe he was tired, had a medical issue, fell asleep, disturbed by phone, the driver was seriously hurt and rushed to ER.
Seems the driver was alone in the car, no passenger.

I’m just glad Gino was perma-banned so we don’t have to read his trashing the driver and giving free lessons on how to drive an 812.

I hope for a full recovery.

Ps It must be a pain to drive a Ferrari at 100 km/h.

I’m glad he survived and the passenger compartment held up
As I’ve said before I’d rather have a front end collision in a front engined car rather than a rear. Just more mass between me and the thing I hit.
