Big thanks to Vince for putting this all together! Like I said Vince, your "unconventional ways" are working for you! :) Thank you very much for allowing me to experience a little nostalgia by sitting in your car, that put a big smile on my face!

We had an excellent turnout, and it couldn't have been a better day! I really enjoyed talking with everyone. I must say it's the people in this community that make me very happy to be a part of this community.

I have a video in progress, just have some more editing to do.

    Chris

I really enjoyed the day. Its was great to see some familair faces as well and meet some new people. The weather, company and rides were excellent!

I also hope the nice weather shines on us a few more days, Jeff really needs to take that bad boy 360 out for a long walk!

Thanks Chris, I have a Nikon d300s. For the photos with people leaving I used the 70-200 2.8, the parked photos are with a 50 1.8 or 12-24.

    Chris,
    Utterly fantastic, great job, thanks!

We will be watching these videos long into winter.....

I like the way you blank out the license plates, how do you do that if I may ask?

I noticed that two, I am going to try and add it to my video if I can with my program.

Also if people want I can remove it from the photos. Never really thought of it.

Wow that red NSX sounds very nice! I didn't expect that kind of noise from the V-Tech motor....nice!

Thanks Brian! Likewise, it was great seeing you again and enjoying the thrill of a great car cruise!

It's a painful task! It's hard to explain the effects that are used to do it, but you have to adjust it frame by frame. 3 seconds of footage of a moving car can take a half hour to do! That's why a lot of times when I am filming a car from the tailpipe, I try to avoid the license plate altogether.

He mentioned Ferrarichat! Haha I love it when he said you need at least $10 million to buy a used one.

Maybe it's time for a magnetic item that says dt1rockstar.com or something that covers plates (for non-driving footage)

Yes :). Before anyone says something the music is only to cover up people talking at 150% speed (walk around) and when wind is the only thing you can hear. yesterday I saw that GoPro released the Hero2 and it has a spot for a mic to plug in along with some other cool updates like a wireless controller/phone app.

Music is from the Movie "Drive". If you have not see it I personally liked it a lot but its more about the cinematography then driving.

I am still learning how to edit video and make good cuts. Its fun but take a lot longer then photos that I have done by now.

I started to think of my car as sort of a tripod as we go around making these videos. I guess the proper term is a quadpod. A roaming quadpod. I'm also learning to keep my mouth shut while we drive.
