I'm stuck with a blown tire on LIE near Plainview. Anyone have a recommendation for a reliable row over to FoLI?

Thanks. Also got their number through FoLI's Sunday phone service folks. Arranged a truck for the 3.8 miles to dealer

Was it a pothole that caused it ?
Lucky you are so close to FofLI....good luck and don't let it bum you out too much.
Ironically there is a Ferrari Coffee and Bagels gathering in Plainview at 9am today

No apparent cause this morning. Is the C&C at FoLI? If so, I may be unintended attendee.

Thanks. Just a tire, I'm sure. 1-hour wait for the truck; 5-minute drive too FoLI. My truck ended up picking up a car from there going outbound, so I got a chance to see Mike and hand over the car. Now, just need to figure out if I'm replacing 1, 2, or 4 tires.

A lot of nice hardware in the shop. Two LaF, an F12 TdF, a 288 GTO, among others.

Serious potholes have opened up in a huge way this past week throughout the area.

I'm in MD, suffered a broken wheel on a 430. Cost me $2,000 to replace wheel and tire at FoW. State of Maryland reimbursed me $1800 nine months after filing a claim (deduction for depreciation). Paperwork was easy. Look into it in NY. Sorry for your hassle

Thanks for the info. In this case, though, it (miraculously) wasn't a pothole. FoLI hasn't checked out the wheel yet, but I didn't hit anything, so don't expect they will find any claimable damage on the wheel. We'll see.

I do love paperwork - especially if it's online. Just filed a rebuttal to a speed camera citation in DC. Used their photos along with some time-speed-distance calcs to support my claim. I expect to hear back in a few years maybe.

It was alien technology run amok that caused your tire failure.

Rim was fine, so that pretty much confirms the amok alien tech theory.
