Well, I got about 3 hours sleep last night, and about 3 the night before... I also don't have an EZ Pass, so that's gonna suck pretty hard... Leaving CT in about an hour...
Its 5AM and I am leaving Newark Delaware to arrive at the starting point at 8AM. I nominate myself for furthest driven to the starting point.....136 miles according to Mapquest. See you in a few hours. Jon in Delaware
WOW! I only did half of the drive with my friend Anthony in his stunning BMW M6 Convertible after we drove past the POPO at stupid speeds and met up with 100 Ruff Rider's on crazy sport bikes at the gas station near the PA border. Hovik hands down the event was very well executed and the cars were top notch. NO EVO's today yeyeye. Seth thank you very much for taking a lot of your time to organize a great showing and a good drive for charity. I can't wait to see what the figures were for the money raised. Thanks to all the sponsors for hooking us up with these fresh a$$ t-shirts. I will bake mine in the dryer for around an hour to get it to the regular size. Joey good to see you out with your new whip! The thing looks redic! Shivam good seeing you my friend but I never got to glance at the 355 you bought. Post up some pics with you are ready. Everyone thanks for making it a good event as it was my last NY drive before I have to leave for Arizona tomorrow for college. Here are a few photos I took. The driver of the M6 has some good video I took with his camera which he will hopefully post up in the next few days. Had a blast guys, thanks for having it. too bad the POPO were out so much. at least we didnt get too many tickets, i know a couple people did though
SICK SICKKKK RUN!!!! Great seeing you all today and meeting the new people. poossttt picssss! Hovvvvo....hats off...that was awesome.
Great time today. Hovik, you put on a Class Event. Keep up the great work!!!! Looking forward to the next event. (Were any of the NYMC members in attendance???) Evan.....thanks for leaving early!!!!!!!!
Haha yourwelcome! Geez you guys had a full day and must be pooped. Barry post up some of your photos.
joey was there, and antony with the m6 convertible. i dont know if frank was, but the rest of us were occupied with a 5 am run. apologies for the lack of attendance, but i'm sure with all the hot cars there that we were hardly missed . I would have come if i didn't have to work at the shop after returning from OBI. Hope everyone there had fun, catch you on the next one.
I am going to work on getting the video posted this week, but that run was amazing guys, all the different colored lambos really did it for me. Some of you guys are crazy though, the fact that any of us still have licenses is amazing. Cant wait till the next one.
YOu guys were missed. Must have been packed at the OBI today. Weather couldnt have been better!!!!!!! Joey doesnt count. Anthony had to chaffeur college boy around all day!!!
yeah it was slammed. fortunately it only took us about 30 minutes to get there from harrison so we got the prime spots all together. most of my guys had never been before, so it was pretty cool for them to see it.
It was great to see everyone today at the largest event that I have been part of..... Hovik did a great job and I am proud to announce the formation of Exotics Rally, Inc. All of you in attendance today should have received the flyer, so check it out for upcoming events... www.exoticsrally.com is almost completed, final touches are going to be implemented this week.... Amazing how many cops were out on the way to the Poconos and they never even bothered with us... thanks to Strong Island Motorsports, Seaford, NY for my Radar Jammer... worked flawlessly.. On the way back it was quite interesting, a few of us in Lambos and the T-rex were burning up the road and I hit 195 MPH on a down hill and it seemed to have more to go.... Quite a thrill.... Downside was getting pulled over for traveling in the left lane for an extended period of time??? Seems that this is a New Jersey law of some sort??? I thought NY was screwed up! A PBA card and a few words and he let me go with a written warning??? another New Jersey "thing." I am glad that almost everyone did not balk at paying the $100.00. There were a few persons who tried to avoid the donation which in my opinion is pathetic, you should have kept your $100,000 car home with your $100.00 donation.... For all the contributors... your money has been spent very wisely, from decals, t-shirts, wrist bands, photo copies, and a great spread at lunch. There is going to be a very generous donation made to "Food for the Hungry" to feed children probably for about 2 years! I was glad to help launch this Event with Hovik but I cannot take credit for the organization of it.. he has a special way of handling it and yes it was executed well...... It's great to be home, tired as can be...... See all of you soon.... Drive Safely.... Hope everyone arrived to their final destinations without a problem....... Best to All, Seth
Hats off to Hovik for pulling off Nother successful event. Despite Waleed having a police escort on each side of him a d our scare (Joey, Raudel) we had another ticket and incident free day! Good to see some new faces as well as the regulars! Martin
Awesome run today! Many thanks to Hovik and Seth for organizing it (and for the benefit of a good cause)....You guys chose a great route and excellent lunch spot. Although the cops were out in full force, they seemed to be in a lenient mood - blew by a couple of 'em at speed, expected to see lights blaring in the rear view mirror, but thankfully nothing... It was great seeing everyone today...Looking forward to the next run!
