I was referring to the NEW picture of the black F1 (BQ 7551) posted by Dragster666. I uploaded the silver Buccaneer to show that the new F1 pic was likely taken in the same garage due to the flooring & support columns. Could you please stop acting like the self-appointed moderator of this thread; it is highly irritating and I would appreciate if you could read & understand before posting smug comments.

Paolo Garella converted a few F40s to RHD in the late 90s during his time at Pininfarina, Since F40s are from the late 80s early 90s, does this mean Pininfarina could have converted a fleet of earlier F40s to RHD that we dont even know about? Paolo had no involvement with PF until like 1995 (i think) so its pretty intriguing thinking that there could be a fleet of early F40 RHD's that we dont even know exist. The reason why i bring up Mr.Garella is because he gave the full story of him at Pininfarina and spoke about these crazy F40s. He was the manager of converting a few F50s and 288GTO's to RHD too . So I was looking up some of the Ferrari VINs from the list on F-Register yesterday and I discovered that Ferrari 550 ZFFZR49B000106131 wearing Brunei plate BP6161 was the 1996 Paris motor show car. According to F-Register it is LHD. No information on color was listed. By any chance would anyone on here have pictures of this car from the show?

Checkmyreg wont pull the vin but what I found was this, In a article called "1996 Paris Motor Show stars, where are they now" but this could just be a generic photo of a 550, not sure. If anyone could pull the vin please let @Smejwajej02 know Image Unavailable, Please Login

A new photo of the white Pagani Huayra, entering the Istana Nurul Iman Palace in Bandar Seri Begawan, on January 4th 2020. Interesting to see that it does not yet have the 'Tempesta Package'. Enjoy!

Many thanks for the unique and rare pictures.

Sadly the red road car (chassis no. 004) was crashed during the mid-90s and was broken up and used for parts to help service the rest of the collection

From the 6th to the 8th of December, 2008 some interesting cars were displayed at Hong Seh's 40th Anniversary celebration. The event was held at the Pit building on the F1 track in Singapore. Some cars are rather 'suspicious' as potentially being ex-'Royal' cars. You can clearly see the blue-on-blue RHD Cizeta V16T, recently acquired by Miami-based dealership Curated - https://wearecurated.com. In multiple posts, I will upload some pics of the event, found all over the Internet. Enjoy!

On the 11th of October, 2010 Jalopnik published an article about a lot of 25 cars being sold in New Zealand. All being brand new and never driven, or with delivery-mileage. You can read the article here: https://jalopnik.com/who-is-selling-the-sultan-of-bruneis-cars-5686391

I am copy-pasting the article, in case it ever gets to be removed in the future by Jalopnik:

Who Is Selling The Sultan Of Brunei's Cars?
    Matt Hardigree

    11/10/10 12:00PM

A broker is selling 25 Ferraris, three Lamborghinis, and a Cizeta, among other rare supercars. All are unregistered with delivery mileage only, which means they almost certainly belong to the Sultan of Brunei. Who is selling the Sultan's cars?

According to the seller, these amazing vehicles were all ordered brand new from the factory and delivered to the owner who, for some unknown reason, never drove them. Now they're sitting in a garage in New Zealand begging to be freed from their packaging.

The collection of 25 Ferraris includes an Enzo, F50, and F40 if you're interested in comparing the evolution of Maranello's line-toppers. There's also a pair of Daytonas, a 575 Superamerica, a 512 TR Spyder, and a 355 Challenge in race and regular spec. The Lamborghinis include a Diablo SE30 and two Countach 25th Anniversary Editions. The two Porsches are the rare (1-of-80) 964 911 Turbo S Leichtbaus.

And then it starts to get strange. An as-new Italdesign V12 Nazca sold along with a Cizeta V16? The Sultan of Brunei had one black Cizeta and one blue Cizeta. The black one already sold and the blue one looks exactly like this one. There are only eight, so the odds are pretty good it's his. The Sultan also had an Italdesign Nazca, which is one of three for that prototype variation.

Either someone is pretending to sell the Sultan's cars, or they're actually selling the Sultan's cars. Because Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah is the head of an oil-rich state, he probably doesn't have to sell off extra cars to raise capital. Who might? His brother "Playboy Prince" Jefri Bolkiah, who has recently been the subject of legal battles with former lawyers for not paying his fees, and with the Brunei Investment Authority because he appears to have lost $40 billion dollars after spending lavishly on things like statues of him having sex.

The Sultan's got a habit of giving some of his lesser automobiles to his brother, which seems generous until you remember the Sultan himself owns an amazing collection that includes over 500 Mercedes, 360 Ferraris, 180 Bentleys, and 160 Porsches. Just to name a few. The current lawsuit against Jefri alleges he has a "history of concealment and dissipation of assets" and a past judgment mentions he surrendered "over 2000 cars."

This wouldn't be the first time one of the Sultan's former cars went up for sale. This summer he sold one of his Ferrari F50s. So maybe Jefri isn't unloading the cars, maybe the Sultan's just making space in his garage for a new fleet of Bugattis.

We've contacted the seller to inquire about how the cars traveled from the Sultan's collections — if they are indeed his cars — to New Zealand. There's a large gray market for collectors cars attended to mostly by people who don't like to talk about their craft, so we're not expecting a response.

It's possible there's another collector in the world with the same mix of rare cars who never drove them and decided to put them up for sale. if it's true, we want to meet this collector. In the meantime, if you've got $470,000 sitting around the Cizeta is a steal.

Hello all, currently reading the Aston Martin book by David Dowsey, I was wondering if there were any other books that talked about Brunei Special Projects ? (especially Ferrari and Bentley/Rolls Royce)
    Thanks!

    Hello,
You can read Inside the Rolls-Royce & Bentley Styling Department by Graham Hull. There is a chapter on the special commissions during the nineties.
