Stupid Question: Cheating at Dave and Busters?

    A while back ago I was at D&B's and when I went to go redeem my tickets I noticed they had a little weight/scale thingy that supposedly knows how many tickets you got. So it made me wonder, could you put some paperclips or stickers on it to weight them down and therefore count more tickets than there actually is? Not that I plan to do it or anything but im curious to know how that thing works and why people havent done something like this; I notice theres tons of ways to cheat in that place everytime I go there.

    BTW, last time I was there I noticed they had a Ferrari F1 remote control car for like something thousand tickets.

    Yes. you could add weight and it would register more tickets. but you would need to do it in such a way where it was very hidden tape would make the tickets stiff so they wouldnt fold in on themselves, and paper clips would be to obvious. So its only a scale and it can be fooled

    A friend of mine spilled a beer on his tickets there before, and it was honestly a mistake. We didn't figure out why he had so many more tickets than he thought until we sobered up :)

    Tape a few pennies to some random tickets. It shouldn't take more than 5 to do the trick.

    Bring a 5 lb. olympic weight plate and discreetly pull it out and slip it on the scale.

    Do these places not have staff to weight the tickets? Every arcade that i've been to keeps the scales behind the counter with the prizes. I take it Dave and Busters is different?

    when i was 8 i think at chuck-e-cheese i used to soak em in the bathroom, half dry them so they were damp, put em in the plastic bag so that they never touch them to find out they were moist and it used to count for double...but D&D mite be somewhat smarter than them

    after they are weighed, they put them through the dicer.....The pennies would bring that chopper to a halt, so then you'd be busted.

    Haha--I just got an image of a bunch of kids in the bathroom soaking their tickets in the sinks and toilets.

    here's a thought.... instead of spending the $20 trying to win tickets... give it to the pimply faced kid making $6.50/hr who's working the scale and ask him to give you a receipt that says you won 9,000,000 tickets, or however many tickets are required to get a VCR.
