This would be a great canidate for a respray into a color variation not originally offered like the TDF Blue car or something like that.

 

I heard that it wasn't actually auctioned. Can anyone support that? I would like to hear what happened if it did go down.

It sounds as though it was assumed the Enzo and a further 51 luxury cars were to be auctioned along with the 129 cars that where supposedly auction yesterday, but theses higher value cars are still in a backlog of cases yet to go in front of the courts to authorise the auctions.

Notice of auctions are 1 month prior to give original owners fare warning, and monies raised will be held in a special account for 5 years, for original owner to claim ( minus obvious expenses, and to be punished in front of the local courts, with who knows what consequences no doubt).

i find this one hard to believe. a british citizen who couldn't afford the traffic fines? lmfao. he drives an enzo in dubai but can't pay fines. couldn't they come up with something a little better?

Any update on the fate of this car? It's been over five years...

 

Well, according to Motor Authority, the car was still parked (until last year's February) at the same spot it was, back in 2011. That's because according to Interpol, this Enzo was either stolen or purchased using stolen assets. So it's part of an investigation as well as the top prize in a legal dispute over it's rightful ownership.
