who ever said I don't allow open sponsor discussion on FerrariChat? :D

ground rules just keep it respectful and don't listen to fan club from either camp, try to focus on those with valid experiences with both no agenda.

My 575 air vents and a few other parts were refinished by Stickynomore a few years back.
I was happy with the work but in my opinion it just seemed liked they were cleaned and the stickiness removed.

I had my 430 refinished by StickyRX and the parts were actually stripped, refinished and laser etched. Its a totally different process. I know because StickyRX sent me a video of my parts getting refinished.

I am a perfectionist when it comes to the care of my cars. The first method used on my 575 was satisfactory but the second method used on my 430 far exceeded my expectations and is overall a nicer product in the end.
This is just my own personal experience. I am not a guy that bashes others on threads. I just like to give you my own opinion. Others may differ.

what was the difference in costs (either raw numbers or if you're uncomfortable with that, as a percentage)?

Pricing is comparable for smaller parts, in fact my ashtray for my 430 was cheaper at StickyRX then at Stickynomore if I use the Stickynomore price list on the website.

I've not used either, I did mine myself. That being said I will be sending them to Dave (Sticky RX) to be done again as you can't beat the laser etching IMO.

Just doesn't get nicer, I don't think the age of the vehicle would influence this.

I have both on my cars and I agree with this. SNM is a good job but SRX is light years ahead in quality and durability.

I have to do all in the interior parts in my 360 when I take it in for the major and they're all going to SRX.

This was my experience on my 550 as well.
Due to proximity, I was also able to go see the operation at StickyRX and came away with a very positive impression. Dave runs a very professional shop and as mentioned above, the parts are completely stripped, refinished and laser etched, with true attention to detail.
All parts are back in the car now and they look great. Another benefit of the durable coating is that you can re-install parts without marring the surfaces.
I have had both companies do parts on my car, but the surface durability and laser etched graphics give StickyRX the edge in my experience.

This is a pro RX post, but not an anti- SNM post as I have not used SNM. I have used RX. My mechanic sent out parts for my 550 to them and while it took a little time, the result was truly outstanding and absolutely worth the wait. Its like being teleported back in time, except I think the parts are better than new! I love it! Thanks Dave!

Hi TTR, I am pretty sure Dave's coating (Sticky RX) will never get sticky as it's a hard touch coating and chemical and mar resistant. I'm really very impressed with the results he achieved for me- my 550's interior finishes were becoming so sticky, it was gross. After the process, its like I have a new car!

There's a guy in sarasota that does a lot of maserati parts at favorable price points.
