Hello All! I've been in the market for a Lusso waiting to find the right one. One thing I've noticed is that there are more Lussos without the CF steering wheel with LEDs than I would have thought. To me, that's a must have. Question for the group is can a car that was not spec'd with the CF steering wheel with LEDs simply replace the steering wheel with the LEDs? From looking at the back of a replacement steering wheel it appears to me to be very "standardized" so wondering if the functionality (i.e. correct wiring that could operate the LEDs) exists but just needs the proper wheel. Having owned a few F cars, I also realize that most things aren't that simple (like trying to add cruise control to my 458 when it wasn't ordered) or inexpensive. Thanks.
The wheel alone costs about 10k and then the car has to be coded by your Ferrari dealer. So if you’re price comparing between one with and without, that’s probably the difference just for the wheel alone.
Also, if you purchase the CF steering wheel out of network ( ie: off the interwebs ) Ferrari may or may not offer the required proxy file Ask your dealership in advance, so you will be best informed S
