Power steering is vibrating through the wheel particularly when car is stationary on smooth surfaces, although can also feel it on the road at times.

Symptoms only started after mechanic attended to a leaking front/back power steering pipe (long metal hose with rubber fittings on both ends). He sent off original OEM pipe to a hose repairer who have put in new rubber ends but in the process have moved the power steering pipe restrictor from being within the rubber fitting (OEM location) to being at the end of the metal pipe that joins into the rubber fitting. They are unable to fit the restrictor within the rubber fitting as per factory as don't have the facility to do this.

Car pre and post repair was using recommended Ferrari steering wheel fluid (Shell Donax TX). Steering fluid has been flushed as part of repair (major being done at same time).

Vibration therefore seems to point to relocated restrictor as being the cause. However mechanic has also indicated he's seen the same problem (perhaps to a lesser degree) on other 360s with original (unchanged) front/back power steering pipes. Therefore replacing with an original part may not necessary resolve the issue.

Appreciate any feedback on the above issue.

Do you think that it can be air in the system?
If so, maybe it will purge the air with use.

Bob, did you ever get this sorted? I had the same issue after having the same hose repaired, with the restrictor reinstalled in the hose. Not sure if it is the change in restrictor position or if the air takes awhile to work itself out.
I did a few lock/lock turns while up on the hoist before driving the car to purge the air, but it's a long system, so it could be working itself out. I wouldn't think the system would be so sensitive to the restrictor position in that line.
