GM can build Opels with black tape on the insignia here and call them Buicks, and can build Chevy Bolts (Daewoo) with black tape on the bowtie and call them Opels. Easy.
i'm a huge wagon fan. it's interesting to me that the US used to be known for our large, cross country, 'queen family truckster' type wagons, yet now we pretty much make nothing but utes. i wish we still made wagons - i can't stand all these poorly driven huge-utes we have here. now, the euro markets have the great estates. here's the money shot of my '05 V70R wagon. love this thing.
