LOL that's as much a station wagon as my Town and Country MV +1 A buddy of mine in Germany had one of those and it was a blast on the Autobahn. He never did take it to the 'ring though
Thanks guys. Ya I need correct Audi center caps. But they are surprisingly cheap The car is a 1995 Audi RS2. Around 2000 where built in 94-95. Porsche and Audi teamed up to build them. They have lots of Porsche parts, cup wheels, brakes, and mirrors. Porsche also helped development of the 315hp turbo 5 cylinder motor It has a 6 speed manual and Audis Quattro 4wd system I am excited
Pretty close But I seem to recall that station wagons can haul and tow. . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
nah "station wagons" are always sedan-based. Nothing to do with towing capability. But I'll see that Canyonero's little boat and raise you a house Image Unavailable, Please Login
he started it! ok back on topic: the best looking wagon. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are you sure they're all in circulation? As far as I know/understand, only one is in circulation, and that's the silver one (that was originally green) in the UK. It, along with its cousin the 456 Spyder weren't delivered to Brunei, and subsequently sold by Pininfarina to Cars International (and the spyder is now at the Marconi museum) when Brunei defaulted on over $50m of custom projects to Pininfarina. That's how those two, along with the blue Ferrari FX, the two Cizeta V16Ts (converted to F512M motors), and a whole host of other custom cars ended up for sale. Nothing, as I understand it, has ever left Brunei and is just there rotting away.
Isn't the Automatic, with Paddles if you want - no double clutch to be seen, is faster than the manual? But come on where is the fun with all that power without a stick? And slap a supercharger on it too... isn't Hennessey getting near 1000 BHP out of those engines? I mean if you just want to burn rubber and replace tires every other day. Make it into the 300 MPH club on the lake with something like that farting around with the final drive...
The station was so named because its function was originally to take people and luggage to and from the train station.
New stallmate for the hauler. A little faster, but not a lot. My other daily driver is a 3 second car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Although I'm obviously a big time BMW fan, I really respect how MB keeps the tuned wagons for the US market regardless of sales figures or even if competes with another car it manufactures. Wish BMW would man up and do the same. I wouldn't mind having the 63, though. Awesome ride.
As a former E39 M5 owner, I agree. I also dislike what the M5 has become, E60 for gearbox on great engine and Bangle, and F10 for porkiness, piped in sound, and steering deader than an Audi. E90 M3 wagon would have been perfect. I hadn't had MB in decades, but 4wd killed the drift car nonsense. I like this car as much as I did my E39 M5, and I'd never thought I'd say that, ever. Wagons better balanced too. Audi brings over idiotic hunchback RS7, made trunk smaller on S8, and keeps RS6 Avant home. I'd have one of those. E63S wagon is killer, and I was unsure at beginning. Thx
Well yea, lol Just didn't know if dave was referencing something they decided not to build I wasn't aware of.
I believe Jon Sibal does a lot of concept car renderings for car magazines. This is his version of what the third gen CTS-V wagon would look like.
