I just spent the week out there on the West Coast, let's see if I can remember some of the more notable spottings: Sunday June 13, 2004 afternoon in Beverly Hills: Player's Run cars including, Murcielago, pair of 360's, and a 348 spider. Also saw a silver Porsche Carrera GT, I believe that was on Santa Monica Blvd. Wednesday June 16, 2004 about 9 PMish as I was having dinner at Ivy on Robertson. Gallardo pulled up and was promptly giving the front spot while an Aston Martin Vanquish was moved to make room. Saturday June 19, 2004 around 2-3ish, a 360 spider getting spoiled at the car wash next to Newport Autosport. Also at Newport was a nice Porsche 911 Turbo with apparently aftermarket suspension and black chrome wheels. Both of these cars got on it a little as they left the area (separately though). Of course, saw many exotics and high end cars out there, these are just the more notable ones that stick out in my head.
Sunday about 7:30ish I5 south by Commerce Casino Three car flat being towed by a semi-looking cab,... From front to back Rolls Royce Arnage( Black) unknown plates Bentley Continental GT (Black) MFG plates Aston Martin Vanquish (Silver) MFG plates My wife and her best friend were in the car, both women went "Oh my..what is the middle car?" I told them what it was and my wife looked over to me and said "Thats what I want" So know I've learned a very bug lesson....KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT!!!!
Saw a Red 365 GTS today at 8 am 2 blocks east of 5th Ave on Manchester. A couple of miles from the 110. Parked with the top down looking good at a local shop that usually has something nice parked there.
Saw my first 575 today. It was the dark silver color. It was June 22nd, Tuesday 2:17pm. He was on 405Northbound. Gentleman was wearing a white shirt and was in his early 50s. I got on the freeway by the Getty Ctr and he was traveling in the 3rd lane at about 55mph. There was traffic for a while (101 and 405 intersect). He then changed lanes to the 2nd lane and was doing about 62mph while traffic was flowing 75-80mph. I was next to him for a while with my window down to see if I could hear the motor, but could not, because it seemed like he had it on cruise control, just dead quiet. Then at about Van Nuys avenue he caught up to me, and I saw that his passenger side mirror was busted, it was in bad shape. It was also an F1 tranny as I saw inside. He also had a beautiful red leather interior and it went very nice with the exterior. I proceeded to take off on the 118 west while he was exiting around Van Nuys/Roscoe area. Second sighting was same day at 5:10 pm corner of Devonshire/Roscoe. Car was a green F355 spider and owner had top down.
hey mike, saw you going down stunt...did you pass that el camino? I was on the bicycle yelling at you.....nice drifting....car looked and sounded great. And the 512 was stunning as well.... Dusty

On wilshire and westwood: A porsche... 959 Came up behind me and blew by, saw it very clearly. Wonder how many there are in the country... less than 10?
yesterday on 73 Northbound just before the Laguna Canyon Exit - pulled off the side of the road, three cars, one of which was a silver 360 Spyder. Each was about 3 car lengths spaced apart, everyone on their cell phones. Accident maybe? Owner of 360 looked like a Basketball player
308 GTS QV red/tan south bound on Magnolia St in Huntington Beach @ about 3:30 Saturday afternoon. I was 1 block from my house but couldn't catch him to show him my 308 project. Darn!
I was in the 308 GTB on Foothill Blvd. in La Canada yesterday and saw a red Testarossa going the other way. Exchanged a friendly honk and wave. This is was the first time I encountered another Ferrari while driving mine.....it was cool
Believe it or not, saw two 355 Spiders in the VC (Ventura County) on Saturday the 3rd. One drk green one on Borchard Road in Newbury Park and one red one on the 101 near Lynn Rd.
Dark Blue 360 on Catalina Avenue in Redondo Beach about 3/4 p.m. He was headed south nearing Torrance Blvd. Driver was ?asian maybe hawaiian can't say for sure, he was going too fast or I was or just got him too late hehehe Beautiful car to go flying in!
Just caught a red 360 Spider (With the top up! On such a beautiful day!)heading west on Rosecrans in Manhattan Beach.
I work in Camarillo and have seen the same spyder in the Valley (note my spot on previous post on this thread) and in VC quite a few times.
Today on my way to work I saw a silver 360 with a challenge grill exiting the 101 just past the 405. They on my lunch break I saw a Testarossa on Vine headed towards Santa Monica. Oh yeah, and yesterday I saw a red 355 spider on the 101 in Westlake.
Another day in LA and 3 more 360's. A light blue car on Little Santa Monica Blvd in BV, a red spider parked on Rodeo with a crowd around it (maybe 4pm or so for these two) and a sliver Spider with the top up at SM Blvd and Barrington (6:30 pm or so).
Monday afternoon on my way home from LAX I saw a red 512 Boxer on the 405N. In Europe I made some cool spots including a Lotus Elise, Opel Speedster, several 550s and 575s, 360s, a 355B, TR, Maserati Spyder, and even a Maserati Quattroporte
