Spotter's Thread, 2004...

Just saw an F40 going east on interstate 44 near rout 9 in Fishkill NY today around 2:45PM. Anyone on here ???????????

 

Probably the F40 that has been at WWoC for a rebuilt engine. I know that they've been road testing it and it may very well have been the owner since I believe that it's ready to go. I hear that it's a monster...

 

Of all the F-cars I've always had a desire to see, the F40 is still the one I have never spotted

 

Yeah, that was me running up and down 84 after picking it up from WWOC after some minor adjustments. Beautiful day to bang the gears, just so many friggin trucks!

Glad to hear that it's back up and running! i saw it yesterday when i was at WWoC and Jim (mechanic) said that it was running very strong.

As for the traffic today, I couldn't agree with you more. I had some seat time in a couple of Gallardos today and I was fighting to get any open road to let them loose! ;-)

 

This morning there was a red Maserati Gran Sport heading East towards on the causeway towards Longport.

 

Yesterday, Rehan told me he spotted a yellow Elise somewhere in New Jersey.

 

heard a nice sound on rue Rivoli last night while walking along near the Meurice... looked up and caught a silver 360 spider cruising down. carrying a battle scar scrape along the side of it's passenger door. still, sounded good.
then somewhere down in the 6th (rue Vaugirard maybe?) saw a Gran sport parked about as tightly on the side of the street as you could imagine. practically touching at both ends. dark outside and i wasn't paying attention to color.
finally today while having a beer near the Marais saw some sort of Aston Martin passing by but didn't get a good enough look (from behind only) to tell which one. silver or gray or titanium or equivalent.

Speaking of Jersey...just heard/spotted a Pearlescent Orange Gallardo in Woodcliff Lake heading into Saddle River. Gotta say that after driving both an e-gear and 6speed this week those G-cars are really growing on me.

 

might be the same orange G i saw on GSP getting onto 80 today. He didn't want any of the TL though

Haven't gotten to Nice - still in Paris.

And today a red dino out front of the Plaza Athenee on Ave. Montaigne just before I went in for a little lunch (okay, a big lunch). This is the only one I shot pictures of, and since they're relatively hi-res if you want to see them I think you know where to go now.

Then a silver or titanium 550 or 575 out front of.. just like last time, the Meurice. Cruising by just as i was pulling away in a cab after a round of drinks at Costes and then another round at the Meurice. No pics and it was dark. Almost told the driver to follow it for awhile so I could keep admiring but I was riding with people who would definitely not understand that...
