Nikon D70S with AF Nikkor 70-300mm 1:4-5.6G The shot from the paddock was made with myu old camera ....a Nikon 5400 Coolpix. I'm saving up for ome better lens atm.
I'm saving up for a better lens too but it ain't easy being a student... I also had a canon powershot A530 with me to make a few movies but I did not use it once the whole weekend :s
Hi all, What a great weekend it was indeed! Just got back from Belgium yesterday evening. Too bad I didn't know where fchat meeting would be, I was already on the way when it was decided. yeah.....I'm a student as well, so I know exactly in what kinda situation you are What do you study btw? Me myself, I do pharmacy. I gonna work this summer a lot to get the money together for the new lens. I had to use my Nikon 5400 cos the battery of the D70 ran out of energy haha

well at the moment I'm studying nothing (LOL) but in September I'll start my first year photography I'm going to work as well this summer but that's to pay of my body... which lens are you planning to buy? you only have one battery for the D70? I would say make sure you have two for the next event; personally there's nothing I hate more then running out of batteries
I was also a bit disappointed I didn't see any F50... didn't see the F40 either (didn't search for it, have seen quite a few but so far I've only seen one F50)

Thanks patrick! F40Fan theere was this time just 1 F40 from a Dutch man (dont know him) Last year there were at least 4 F40's and 1 F50, but this year there were about 3 or 4 Enzo's
yes and the F40 of the same guy from the F355 Challenge and a French F40 with the autograph of Jean Alesi (1993) I made a picture of the F40 and F50 in one shot but it was with MichaelT his cam (he made a few pics himself too) Last year I had a crazy home improvement Sony V1 camera with 2 empty batterys even before I made it to the pitline :S
yes I heard that F40 was there but I couldn't find it immediately and I didn't search for long (had to get in Les Combes for the F1 ) don't know the car either but it but the rims & exhaust weren't original This year there were 4 Enzo's: 3 red ones (france, germany and one without lincense plates) and 1 black one (lux)
Haven't decided a specific lens yet...... I'm at the stage of saving money for the lens. I will need advice abt my future lens, since I don't know that much abt lenses. Maybe you could help me make the decision when I have selected some? The D70 battery was good enough for 1400 pix at Spa. I would say that it is pretty good. But a 2nd battery would be better, but I don't think I will use both of them very often so that the battery might get "lazy".....

well though I'd really like to advise you I'm afraid I can't really help you on the lens because I don't know that much about Nikon, I'm a Canon user 1400 pics is quite good with 1 battery with my 20D I can't make that much pictures with one battery, that's one of the reasons I have two batteries and I try to use both batteries as much as possible so they don't get lazy
