That's half the fun. Get stuck yet? I'm sure it pulls like a tractor. Miss my ranger sometimes, but it wasn't that cool.

Not yet. The trick seems to be to be very smooth and steady in the deep mud.

Let the tires work and not dig. Don't have a lot of track experience, but I would say that the difference between a performance street tire and a slick are about the same as a normal all terrain and a dedicated mud tire.
Couple that with the power/ light weight of the Boot and I'm sure it does just about anything. The trails up there especially. Down here we just seem to have mud that doesn't have a bottom.

Jim, the purpose of the huge fan at the back of the Boot is to cool the engine, right? How does it deal with mud etc?

Mario, I think the fan is for the radiator. The back of the vehicle will stay the cleanest in muddy/ environments. Dust is a little different depending on aerodynamics. If look at most dedicated mud trucks, the radiator is in the back to keep them clean and away from debris and other dangers.

Thanks for the answer, and it makes sense to me (I know close to 0 about trucks & offroading etc). The main reason I asked is the lack of mudflaps, so I assumed there may have been some debris thrown the way of the engine. And also because from what I know the car was built for the Baja which I understand is more sand than mud, though your comment on dust is interesting.

I have a nice pic of the fan which I will look up and post in a bit.

The biggest issue in Baha would be the silt, it gets everywhere. But dust doesn't pack a radiator like mud will. Can still create issues though. I'm not sure if the fan is a puller or pushed, Jim would have to answer that, if the pushing air out the back, then it's not likely the dust coming up from the back will get in the radiator. I am pretty sure the engine is mounted backwards, the trans pointing towards the front, so the radiator is turned also.
There is a lot of cool engineering in the off road stuff too
