that collection doesnt do anything for me. He just bought all the high profile cars he could get his hands on. nothing personal, nothing sentimental, its justy outrageously expensive so he bought it. Dont get me wrong, i'd give an arm for a few of those cars there, but it just seems tacky to me. I wish I had money to buy stuff like that, but I think I would choose more carefully.

I like how the OP said no clean words. Before reading that line and seeing the first pic I literally said out loud, "f*&$ is that chrome plated?".

Are you sure about that? If this is the guy i'm thinking of, he's been building this collection for the past few years. The F40, F50, GT1, CLK-GTR, XJ220 have been in his posession for at least 4 or 5 years. Its not like he went out and bought them all at once

Then again, could be another collector

If I am not mistaken, he is known to be a hardcore Ferrari guy. If so, somone should get him on FChat.

The cars are exercised VERY regularly. They are also kept immaculately clean by an army of servants. There are several other garages with "ordinary" cars like Mercedes, Range Rover SUVs, etc., in case more room or discretion is needed.

All I see when I look at something like that is someone's obsession with spending large amounts of cash.

As someone said earlier...it's almost tacky. It's not normal. FIVE FREAKIN' VEYRONS????

I'm like the OP--how do you say anything but HOLY %^&#???!?!?!?!?

I made an assumption, I may be wrong. How many Veyrons can you fall in love with?

The XJ220 and the F40 would be at the top of my list. He has some very nice cars, but the whole thing in general just says "bleah". Thats just my tasted however, and Im sure this collection has some people reaching for a bottle of Jergens.

Definitely needs a 288GTO, FXX, McLaren F1, maybe a 599GTO and Lexus LF-A. I would guess an MP4-12C is on order, as is a One-77.

How about a few of the truly obscure and rare supercars to park in the desert?

It just doesn't look like a private collection. It looks more like something intended for public viewing.

Exactly. If you like a car, and enjoy them, buy however many you want and can afford.

    Agree 100%!

A Pagani is the crown of most car collections.
