    there are very few 88.5 and 89 328s to start with and even fewer unmolested examples keep em real these are the most fabulous Ferraris along with 512 TR F355 F430 and Ferrari Enzo Ferrari

    That's when you're losing ignition on a bank, when the fuel is igniting in the cats, causing them to overheat. This can/will result in engine fires. So my comment above, you know you have an issue if the slow down light is accompanied with a loss of power (i.e., only four of your eight cylinders firing!).

    Many first-time owners want to change the oil on their own cars, but dont know the process.

    While changing the belts (and tensioners?), check the cam belt drive pulley outer bearings. They are sealed, "lubed for life". When their "life" ends, you lose 16 valves!
