Excellent work my friend you are now a master Ferrari technician
I knew from the start of your issue it was a fuel delivery problem
It just took you some time to sort it out
As with most things it’s usually something simple
I knew it wasn’t your air flow sensors
I’ve never seen one go bad and I have over 100k miles on my 512 TR
Anyway glad to see you are back up and running again
Your fuel system is vastly different from the 575
So always store the car with a full tank of fuel

was planning on going to SPA this year for the GP and I figured I would look you up
But they have already canceled the race and are refunded the tickets
So maybe next year we meet ?
Until then my friend safe travels on the autobahn

    Hello Clyde
the pump casing also dissolves when the tank is full. The Maranello is such a great craft, but it also has problems that drive you crazy. I don't like driving the freeway so much. Rather drive country roads and we drive over 200km. I have now bought an old wooden sailing boat. Was cheap and now I have 5 problem vehicles. Next year I can show you the Nürburgring, Rhein and Mosel when you come and I want to travel again to Maranello to bring my Maranello back to Maranello

they are replica mirrors from the 360 Stradale from China. I bought another pair for my F355 with the 512tr engine. You may not fit at all. You have to drill and file and do handicrafts. I needed 2 days for the first mirror and 1 day for the second mirror. It's not a good job to show pictures of ... but I love these mirrors. But also had to strengthen and change a lot. And with the rear wing it is now really well on the road over 200km. Only the other mounting of the front license plate brought more calm when driving over 250km. I also drive this 23 year old Maranello on the country road over 200 and no motorcycle has ever overtaken me with it. fourth gear up to 200km ...
I fix the pumps with a sheet of metal. I got a simple idea. The tank must now be empty again

I was not paying attention. You stuffed a 512tr engine and gearbox into a F355. Would love to hear the challenges you had to overcome!
Was in Germany November then December 2019. Wetzlar and Wettenberg. Nice countryside.

When you removed the fuel rings to access the pumps, did you really just use 2 screws and a prybar like the picture shows a few pages back?

In about to undertake fuel pump R&R on my 456. Debating buying the spanner tool or making one from metal scrap, but if its easier yet, im all ears
