I know this is a Ferrari site but some have other cars. My Viper was the choice for an event. Bourbon tour was the attraction. Sat. morning about 12 started. Not five miles into the trip and another Viper rammed the rear of my stopped car. His about 30 grand on the front. Me, a missing rear bumper and other plastic. OK . So i joined the group and all went well for the day (100miles). Next day in less than one mile while passing on the interstate something broke on the right rear. At speed the car turned 30 degrees shot across three lanes and slammed into the outer guard rail. that flipped the car 300 degrees and i skipped across a concrete catch basin stopping 100 yards and two feet from a giant tree. I walked away without a scratch

Wow, glad that you were able to walk away from what sounds like a pretty serious and scary accident! The stars were in your favor that day!

Did you find out what broke in the right rear to cause that accident? If so, do you know why it broke and is there any reason to inspect that area in the future? Was is related in any way with the hit in the rear from the day before?

had an amazing drive today! We went out to play with friends :) My 400 was the slowest, but still I could keep up pretty well with their 360s, 430, Gallardo, a RX and Koenigsegg C8. As soon as our camera guy has put up the photos I will share some.

Friday I drove the 400i down to Palm Beach International for FCA's Marinello Madness track event. It was a 400 mile round trip mostly on the Florida Turnpike and the car performed perfectly. When I left Orlando the skies were sunny and clear but as I approached the track the skies darkened and the last 20 miles were in light rain which continued thru the day.

Anything more about the yellow ?
Matthias Urban Vin Book says : 5-speed Bronze/Naturale Leather.
Is the leather black or natural tan ? Can't see, windows seemed tainted !

No pictures but I took one of my daughters for a drive yesterday afternoon to enjoy the sunshine and some country roads.

Just had the urge this morning for a little drive to nowhere and spent about 30 miles getting there!

Down here in southern CT the driving season could end tomorrow or it could last most of the winter, depending on when the snow flies and how often. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Vermont gets a lot of snow this winter so that the skiing will be good but it stays warm enough down here to have liquid precipitation instead of snow.

Sorry buddy, had another appointment that day so I had to leave early. Even though the fog was terrible today, we had a nice last drive before the 400 will hide in the garage for the winter. New and thicker oil, valve check and some last engine detailing to round up the final stages of the rebuild and break-in.

Ken and his car will be shown in a full page feature in issue 116 of Forza in our "Ferrari Drivers" feature. Just saw a mock up of the page from the art director and it looks like the 400 series and drivers will get some much deserved recognition.

i hoped i would live long enough to see FCA admit that the 4 seaters are Ferrari. I tried my car in snow and it did not like the road at all. There was ice, that may have caused the problem. With all the sliding and solid things about i put my baby back on safe and closed the door.

I have driven quite a few 2+2 Ferraris over the years - from the 4 headlight cars to 456M GTs and quite a few in between. I love 'em and know why owners are loyal, make that passionate, about their cars.

I did a 2+2 comparison article a few years back. Maybe it's time we did that again?
