I'm understanding the coupe was from 21-23 in the US and 24s will be spiders and no coupes. Seems odd to me. I can't imagine they would just stop making coupes. Doesn't seem like a normal Ferrari cycle to me.

Yes, that seems to be the plan. Bummer as the coupe is so truly elegant and looks much better than the Roma in its Spider incarnation (IMO). I think the coupe has a timeless appearance to it that will make it age much better. Hard to know what the business plan is, but I guess the assumption is "who wouldn't want a convertible?"

Some remaining Q3 2023 Roma coupe allocations delivered as final 2024 models, patently awaiting mine.

I wonder what Ferrari was thinking when they had engineered a retractable hardtop for the Cali and Portofino, to go back to a rag top in the Roma.

Manufacturers will tell you that rag tops are now much much more secure than they used to be whereas accountants will say rag tops are much much cheaper

Rag tops are a pain in the rear compared to a retractable hard top.

The second part is the more likely answer.

So you can or can't order a 2024 coupe? Meaning, if your 23 was a late order/allocation (Q3) as stated in post #3 it just gets labeled as a 24?

Any speculation as to why? Just at a cursory glance it doesn't make sense to me with all that was invested in design and manufacturing to not continue for several more years. Especially if the demand is there which I assume it is. I'm sure they have their reasons otherwise they would.

Thanks cavallinorampante85, so no increase in price for MY 2024, as MSRP of $238,360 is 2023 price ?

I'm just guessing, perhaps Ferrari wants to stick to only one "entry-level" variant, and the spider is it given the Portofino M is no more. The Roma coupe/spider was/is a new product targeting new clientele for Ferrari, I read it brought in 20% new customers who would never have considered other products in the lineup. I'm sure the other Senior members here would be able to provide greater details around the end of the coupe. Perhaps Ferrari want to focus their volumes on certain vehicles in the mix and carrying both coupe & spider would have made that more difficult. The coupe for me was my first and likely last brand new Ferrari experience, awaiting my 2024 coupe this spring.

It offers some exclusivity even with the “lower end models” the ability to limit production numbers. Ferrari did the same marketing strategy when the 812 GTS came out the hardtop Superfast went out of production.

Personally I think the Roma coupe is a fantastic all around car that doesn’t get enough attention in the lineup!

I agree as well. A Roma coupe is drop dead gorgeous in person. It was love at first sight for me. It gets a lot more attention when you're out and about then I thought it would.

To add a little more. I was like "meh" when it came out after seeing pictures and never really watched any reviews. I was actually going to get a Bentley Continental GT Speed. So I started watching a bunch of youtube video reviews on that. From there that lead to GT comparison reviews with the Roma, Artura and Aston Martin. I remember thinking oh yeah I remember the Roma. It got my attention and then I went down the Roma rabbit hole on youtube reviews. From there I had to see one in person. Once I did hence the love at first sight.

The Roma coupe offers a formula not common in Ferrari’s history a small GT hardtop with 4 seats and a trunk. Withstanding I am on a Fchat, avoid the McLaren Artura as they are full of electrical issues. Aston’s look great but tank in value and also have reliability problems. Just my 2 cents ;)

Exactly. I avoid McLaren like the plague because of that fact. Aston uses a Mercedes AMG engine and a lot of their switchgear. Nothing about Aston really floats my boat.

Just thought I would also add my 2 cents. I have had an Artura for a year now and thankfully have not had a single issue. The car has been perfect. They certainly have had their share of issues but I guess I have been fortunate so far.

I am also interested in a Roma and much prefer the coupe to the spider. May tool around in the Mclaren for another year or so and then move on to a Roma.

So the cheapest Ferrari one can buy is now $277,970? This is quite a jump from recent years' entry level Ferrari at around $230K.

Then you notice that Roma Spider msrp is is $31K higher than 2024 Portofino M, which is more or less the same spec. Does anyone have any comment on PM vs RS price difference?

Coupe msrp in 21 was $218,670 base price. So everything has had a pretty good price bump. In 22 and 23 you got the either / or msrp as you can see below.
