Wow! I commend you for taking the FF out on the track....my favorite track! Corkscrew must have felt fun. Did you experience any brake fade? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Right on...love this, I bet that car sounds amazing at full song....can not wait to hear/see the video
How boring and stupid is that rule? You mean you cannot even have someone in the passenger seat? Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
No fades... everything is brand new: rotors and pads. Dealer want close to 30k bur eurospares got the all thing for 13k. Not cheap though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
https://youtube.com/shorts/IJv6_BVn2HQ?feature=share I got to edit the all thing. Got a lot but here is a teaser at the corkscrew Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Do u think the f12 would have done better? It is 500 pounds lighter and about 10% more powerful ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
how much track experience do you have? my guess like 90% out there is you could be a little more patient in the corners go slow to go fast. because it is a Ferrari, doesn't mean you drive it like a Ferrari race car. because it is a Ferrari, you don't have to beat every car on the track including Miatas. do the best you can do with what you have, smooth (slow) in the corners and then use its advantage in the straights. for fun we use to do Run what you Brung, so basically take out your truck you used to tow. It was good experience, every car no matter what has 100% potential, for THAT car!
Enough but never in that car I took it very slow with the car, it’s not a race. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
yes, but if you know where 10/10ths is you can do these events 9/10ths and still be fast and safe. I like street cars on the track because the tires talk to you, slicks only talk to you after the fact.
I hear you imagine when I was Spec RX7 and had 115 HP slowest class on track. That really teaches you not to worry about the rear view.
Thanks for sharing this. Kudos. I just saw an FF in the wild and was reminded and blown away how good it’s design is. Cool car.
In a word? Yes! The F12 is still pretty rolly polly, but more of a sports car than an FF. But personally I think the TdF and the 812 are the first front engined V12's that are actual sports cars. So for that reason they will be better drivers on the track. An F12 with Novi springs and a 20 mm drop does pretty well if fitted with TdF tyres.
Even the 599 was (and I guess, to some extent, still is) far from ridiculous on track; it needs an adapted driving style but is impressive (funny thing is that it requires very late braking, in order to keep braking during the whole turn - otherwise it's very reluctant to turn...) The RWS is a big step up though (I immediately loved that on the Porsche GT3, I can't say about the TdF but on the 812 its benefits are obvious).
The 812 seems super heavy though, like 300 pounds more than f12 so I wonder how it translates on track Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
