    I’m choosing between two 2019 Portofinos and the one I’m currently leaning towards has “Smartphone Interface” listed, but no Apple CarPlay.

    Is that option a replacement for CarPlay (as in it’s still CarPlay compliant, but under a different name) or something different?

    If the former, were there any other changes introduced on the cars with this option?

    My 2022 Portofino M has Smartphone Interface (SMRT). It supports both Android Auto and Apple Carplay. I added https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B2R7NQ1J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to make it work without being plugged in.
