Didn't know about the 178 F1 - pretty cool, thanks. So the 178 is 1.476 liters per cylinder...?

Carb, that would make it a 11.8 litre engine. The largest engine Ferrari has ever built ;)

1.476 litre total or 0.1845 litre per cylinder

A V8-engine with a 65° vee makes no sense at all.
I'm quite sure this is a mistake and the number of cylinders should be: 6

Your right possible typo also Dino 246 is 65 degree 6. This would make the Type: Tipo 158 smallest at 1.489 not much difference.

    Tipo 158
    Year: 1964-1965
    Number of cylinders: 8
    Configuration: 90° vee, 67/52
    Capacity: 1489
    RPM: 11000
    Power: 210 bhp

    Correction made on wiki :)
