    There has been a lot of trash talk in the Euro Sunday thread. I say let's take it to the track! Winners get front parking at VCR for ES, Losers park in the side lot for the rest of summer.
    We can have a modified class for cars like Wayne's and mine and a V8 and 12 class.
    We can even invite a few Z06 Corvettes to help serve up the Humble Pie! :)

    We need at least one each of the following:

    G-Lardo
    Murci
    Stradale
    360
    430
    355
    550 or 575
    TR
    Z06

    copy and paste your name by your car model if you think you are interested. Feel free to add any model that's not on the list.

    We can find a group to run with at Button willow in a few months.

    Let's use them for what they were built for!

    As much as I like the Z06 and think it's capable of similar track times, I wouldn't include it here. Might as well open it up to Vipers, Porsches, Ford GTs, etc. if you go that route. Keep it bulls and horsies. CS, F430, F40, F50, Enzo-Gallardo, Diablo, Murci.

    I'll throw in a Noble. the new Z06 is quite capable on a long track, although not in the same class.

    Sweet. I'd LOVE to see an F40, and F50 AND and Enzo stomping around on a track, not to mention various other f-cars and lambos.

    As much as I would like to join you in my 06 Z06, I can see and respect your point of view. The squabble is between the 2 top Italian manufactures. But do remember that the new Z06 is mostly based on the C6R which is killing all of the competiton on the track. And I'm sure you know what a completely stock Z06 did at the ring! I will be happy to attend and watch from the sidelines for I have a passion for Italian automobiles!

    This would be awesome. I would pay money to watch Rick drive the F40 around a track!

    But why the hell do you have a TR on the list??? What is that going to race??? A civic?

    I would love to run my 01 Zo6 there but that track is crazy. just last weekend I saw 4 cars get wrecked there including a ZO6 and a M3 as well as a radical. My Z with race tires turned a best lap of 2:07 there. if you want to test the cars handling perhaps streets of willow would be a better choice. either way it would be interesting to watch and it shouldnt be that expensive to rent the track.

    I think we need a Z06 to quiet the 430/CS vs Z06 threads. :)
    This should be an open, timed event. We should be able to piggy back onto a club that already has the date.
    No race cars please. Licensed street cars only. Sure you can bring them, but not for our comparison.

    Are you talking about Willow Springs or ButtonWillow with the wrecked cars?? There is a lot of run off at Button Willow, that's why I suggested it.

    The streets of willow arent much more than a big autocross

    the wrecks were at buttonwillow and all at the same wall. I agree with you about streets of willow being small and I suggested that since the speeds are pretty low on that track. buttonwillow will let you test the limits of your car at high speeds but I am not sure howmany exotic owners have the stomach for negotiating their way around that track at speeds well over a 130mph despite what they tell you @ VCR. I know I would be scared to push my F-car there but would gladly run my Z or the Evo.
