I have found a couple of 911s I like at Sloan. Has anyone had any experience buying from Sloan...good, bad..?

I was just there on Thursday. I went to look at a 993 tt which looked concours in pics but was not in real life. Beautiful car, but for the money I wanted a perfect car.

They tend to have the better low miles -their specialty -cars for all-the-money. Richard has been involved with Porsches for decades and knows them and the market extremely well. Don't expect a bargain. You will pay top dollar.

Are you talking about 993 Turbo black/black with around 29,000 miles?

Either people like them, or really dislike them. I lean towards the latter. Some high profile quality shops in CT will not even do a PPI for their cars bc of the way they do business.

Exactly my sentiments. My shop in CT refuses to have anything to do with Sloan. Do your homework. Lots of nice cars at other dealers.

    frank,

my friend bought a car from them about 7 year ago. I located the car on Richard's website and he went to see the car in the flesh and was sold instantly as it was described perfectly. had a great experience w/ Richard. he is selling his car now and has asked Richard to represent the sale. paint to sample turbo look cab.

    frank,

make sure you reach out to CPR in Temecula, CA. they have a sterling reputation and if you buy from them, you will get a great car!! it will not be cheap however.

I have a business associate that is looking to buy a 930 and I have asked him to reach out to both Sloane and CPR.

I also want him to look at Mang's black 930!!

good luck frank and let me know if you would like me to look at any cars for you at CPR? I plan to head up there in the next week or two.

Well I guess that Sewickley sold two of them. I remember that the purple car sat on the floor unsold for months.

my friend bought a low mileage 930 slant from sloan. paid top dollar. the car was in good condition but from his description and price, we were expecting a totally pristine car. such was not the case. but it really wasn't too bad that we couldn't do it ourselves to bring the in A1 condition.
