Finally got the time to install the game. i played for all of 8 minutes, and had to leave to take care of something. I exited out ok to the desktop. Now it wont start, just sits there. No other pc issues. My Steam account is ok, my pc hardware is ok, the game just wont "start". if I click the icon again, it says its already running? Help?
Tried everything on my end. Did some messageboard reading and i *think* Steam did some update to the .exe file that has caused this issue for many users. Played for 8 minutes, up to the "choose race" part.
Been playing on the PC. Only issue* was the game freezing after about 10hrs. * - well besides all the bugs/glitches
Hopefully they will update the game again and it will work. I am done with pc games. I am done with STEAM. I have $75.00+ in the game and huge walkthrough, and the damn game wont even start. I will contact Amazon and my credit card company and return this turd.

Thanks, I saw and tried that. i dont have a "playback" tab on XP64, and my only choices are my Soundmax sound card, none of the choices are even close to the options they say to select. Really pissed about not being able to play this, and that i wasted the time and money.

one of the Steam patches worked. Started playing it a day ago. I tried to install the 4gb patch but the page, not the download on Nexus is flagged with a trojan for some reason. i have been a member on the Nexus forums for years, so i am going to wait before I download anything else. Thanks for asking the, game is great when it works.
The 4Gb launcher works great and comes in handy when you play the game for more than 2hrs. There seems to be some memory leak problem or texture swapping that causes the game to crash after about 2hrs of game play. I've had no other issues with the game and am enjoying it thus far with over 90+ hrs of gameplay. I'm looking forward to mods at skyrimnexus to improve the graphics and textures. And BethSoft has indicated the DLC will be 'substantial'.
