I've done that a few times, it does make a huge difference.
I found for best results, I apply it and then cover it with a trash bag so it doesn't evaporate. And then leave it with the windows up in the sun for a few hours. Do that twice and it's like it's brand new

Yes I need to do that!!! So outside with the bag over the seat and it needs just a few hours? Without the sun I left it for 24 hours in the garage.

Finally found the right source for proper fog light upgrade.
Got the SEALED3 Morimoto 90mm LED fog lights. Retrosource is an awesome place! Love these guys. Matt there one of the owners owns a 355. :D So he understands what our cars need.

The installation process is simple as you can see. The factory lens pulls apart easily, it unsnaps. It has a rubber seal that you re use on these new fogs, and just basically install it inside the lens.
The wiring is plug and play. You get the right socket for these fog lights, and it plugs in directly into the factory plug.

Your car looks great. I did the the leatherique treatment a few years back, before you bought the car. I did it to my 930 recently, best if u put the leatherique on and put a thick garbage over them. My 930 seats came out super soft, they are a bit older than yours

I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to lighting being era correct, so they're not for me but they do update the look hugely.

I would love a second 355 to mod out at some point.

So recently my 355 started acting weirdly. It stopped going past 5K RPM. And when i would reach 5k RPM the lights on the dash would suddenly flash for half a sec. So I searched online for possible cause. It appears it's a possible failure of the camshaft position sensor many say. So I got under the car and checked the location and found out one of the sensors are cracked.

    crankshaft* ;)

Seems to be a common problem on F-cars this age. Not sure why they are so susceptible (they're not near the exhaust). Perhaps cracked during an engine out or oil change?

Yes it's a common issue indeed. On 2.7 there are two of these sensors and on 5.2 there are only one from what I read.
Anyway these sensors are quote cheap to purchase, but no one in USA sells it basically. Many sell these Borsch sensors in Europe. I bought one already but shipping says will be here in 3 weeks

My version of the same problem. I think it’s a heat soak/cycle issue since the connector is clamped to the engine block.

I ordered two genuine Bosch sensors and they came in at €95 for the pair. There was a thread about a Kia interchange part, but at that price I just opted for original Bosch.

I ordered the original Bosch part on ebay from Great Britain for $50. The shipping is a little longer than a week long which is great! I found other deals for $25 but shipping is way slower. So I found something quicker :)

You did the right thing going for the more expensive parts. I saw these crank sensors advertised around €25 as well, but on some sites I read buyer reviews saying the parts were unbranded/fake, so worth double checking.

I bought 02 sensors from over seas, they failed, pretty sure they were fake even though they had a Bosh box. I just use Rock Auto or Ricambi/Rutlands/Vaiul now.
