Shurik's numbered chip photo is from another thread on this issue... LorenzoR figured out the functions of 3 of the chips https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/f355-hvac-ecu.526186/
There is a link on this HVAC ECU thread where it expalins and talks all about it. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/f355-hvac-ecu.526186/ There are basically 6 motors that control the HVAC and every motor has a chip in the ECU. You test the power to each motor. If there is no power going to that motor, then most likely it's a bad chip, not always the case but mostly is. If there is power going to that motor and that motor does not work, then it's a bad motor basically.
So it's been a while since I posted in my garage. While im getting my AC fixed I decided to do a little upgrade with the lights finally. Pictues don't show the difference much, but it's a lot better all around. So I've installed LED bulbs almost to all the exterior lights. Definitely a great upgrade from the old yellowish light output. And LEDs so much brighter too. The fog lights I haven't figured out what fit's in there yet. It says H1 but alsmost nothing fits in there. Im gonna try something tomorrow and see. I might go with TRS HID kit in the fogs down the road. So anyway I never posted the results from my AC fix. Got my AC ECU 6 chips replaced. And replaced the HVAC electric board. The STOP button was causing almost the whole broblem. Thanks to Qavion for the help! That man deserves a trophy!!! what an awesome 355 owner who is always helping. So this is the new board with the 6 chips replaced. Had to send the board to Florida to a guy who does an amazing job. So my AC is almost fully functional. Now my air direction all of the sudden got stuck on the defront/winshield position after I replaced the new HVAC board. Need to look into this problem and see what it could be. Will post results later. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pull the motor out of the tumbler under the dash. you can power the 1 and 5 (I think) pins with 12 volts to see if it moves. If it does not move your motor is rekt and join the club of people trying to find a replacement.
Still looking? Have you tried this company? https://www.ferrariparts.co.uk/part/ferrari/63307100?id=44055
Yes after I replaced the chips, that motor under the dash was functional and I was able to control all directions. After I swapped to the new HVAC board, it all of the sudden it stopped and got stuck on the defrost position as before.
Here are the LED upgade to the headlights, fog lights and park lights, got the turn signal in amber LED as well. Looks bright and nice, looks great with clear lights. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is the fog light, and it's H1 as we know, but Ferrari decided to put H1 bulb in the socket what appears to be like 9006 or 9005 style, not sure yet. I heard that this is a very bazzare design, and never to be seen before. Well this is the only way to replace the bulb, and that's how it actually is replaced. Replaced with the LED bulb for now. I personally want to go with an HID kit for the fogs in the future, as I think the fogs need to be brighter and the factory or the LED bulb not bright enough. an LED upgraded bulb looks brighter but I still think the output is not enough as it should be. I think the only way is to do an HID kit. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hello Alex. Can you tell me what bulb you actually used for the fog lights, and what brand, as I am upgrading mine as well. Thank you!
Would also like to know the exact headlight LED you used (or one that people use, I don't really care about brand). Seems like the ones that have been detailed here in the past are NLA, at least in non-blue tone.
Did you have to modify the opening for the bulb in the fog light? I purchased a set of H1 LEDs and the cylindrical bulbs did not fit through the opening. I just purchased these and hope they will fit in the fog light opening. https://www.ebay.com/itm/4pcs-H1-6000K-Super-White-CREE-LED-Headlight-Bulbs-Kit-Fog-Driving-Light-Lamp-US/392925506904?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
So I got my H&R springs. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here are they installed, up front for now. So with them I was able to lower the front more evenly to the rear of the car. Lowered about 1/2" more up front compared to the factory Eibach springs. Will let you know on how they feel and drive like. I still need to do the rears though. Image Unavailable, Please Login
