My Centennial "Jonsson Sonerai 2L" N8050R currently set up as a 1 place. Continental A50? with early up exhaust ('38 cub)and upgraded to 80HP. McCauly Met-L-Prop 65x60. Burns 5GPH at 138 MPH indicated at 4000' field elev. Soon to redo the cowling and may replace the jugs to down 4 into 1 exhaust if someone can help me find a couple more cheap A-65 cylinders. Have considered putting in the O200 crank and C85 cylinders by flycutting the case. Fun and fully aerobatic. I've pulled 6g coming out of a 210+ mph dive. Someday may add the forward seat and a Sonerai canopy. Flew to OSH in '04 and have over 250 hours on it.

I am restoring a '49 A35 Bonanza and will upload more photos soon. I need a left nose gear door, a right ruddervator, a right flap and a good beech electric prop. Will have 0 time engine, virtually all new hardware, interior, windows, paint... a new 1949 plane.
Have a GNS430(28 volt) that I need to sell or trade for a 12v GNS430.
If anyone knows people with parts, please forward my info or contact me!

Its a 1982 Pitts S2A. Original paint and fabric and very pampered. This Pitts was one of the last "A" models so it got several of the "B" model upgrades they were phasing in. I've got the B wings, fuslage and the taller main gear. Engine is a Lycoming AEIO360A1A, 200 hp, fuel injected. Max "rated" G's are 6+ and 3- but she can do more if you can stand it. Low approach at 180mph you can pull vertical to around 1200ft (Im at sealevel too) before having to push over. Vne is 204mph. Landing blind is a ***** though! lol Joe

Thx Rob, she's really fun to fly. The 310 HP engine of the -22 (versus the 180 HP of the -20) is extremely helpful in the hot, humid climes of Southeast Asia. Not to mention that each of the eTAWS, SkyWatch, and Stormscope are unbelievable pilots aids. Moreover, the CAPS chute provides additional peace of mind given the often inhospitable terrain we fly over (think palm-tree or rubber plantations for miles). Its the perfect plane for me.

Given where gas prices were as of late, I've always flow Lean of Peak after approaching cruise. At about 65% power LOP and no significant head-wind or tail-wind I'm doing about 155 knots True sipping 12.5 GPH. If I go WOT, she should be able to hit in the high 160's. Heading Northbound from Singapore into Malaysia generally provides you with some tailwinds so I've hit close to 200 knots before I ease her back at altitude which is nice.

How's your IFR training going? I'm going to head back to the US - most likely in March 2009 - to obtain my Instrument Rating in the same accelerated manner I got my PPL. Really looking forward to it. Then I can play with the big boys - :D

It has been in a holding pattern all summer. :) Too much other stuff going on, all I need is to take written and then checkride. Rest of year is better so I hope to finish it off.

Wow, that's a beautiful plane you got there. I dream of a TBM 850 one day. For now I'd be happy with a Mooney 201 though!

that's gorgeous Mark. I like that paint job, it really fits that airplane well. beautiful interior...and the polished props is just plain showin' off! ;) :)

I've flown one only once by myself....and I've always thought I'd love to own one. It has the "systems management feel" a big aircraft, in the package of a fast sports car animal. And that aircraft blends the two worlds beautifully.

they make a pilot feel like a pilot. And yours is perfect.
