Will run ~ 100 MPH with a 225 Promax and ~110+ MPH with a 280. I need to buy a motor yet and am deciding what to buy. Getting hard to find these things because Mercury quit making them. MDS
That red Tartan 10 was the best boat ever. In the pic, I'm racing single handed and winning. I could even race with a single spinnaker set if the last mark was downwind -- and win. My fav story is racing single handed when we were hit with a squall line and microburst with winds up to 50kts and I kept sailing with main only on a broad reach downwind -- everyone else dropped out and I won the race. Awesome boat for sure. I bought her in 1981 and donated her in 2010. Sent by incredibly fast electrons
I ordered this nautique super air G21 wakeboard boat this fall. Should be starting production soon hopefully. I originally spec'd a black tower and changed it to white at the last minute. Production is supposed to take 5 to 7 weeks. I'll post pictures when it's delivered to the marina. The bad: Had to get a new boat lift as well because this new G series is so heavy (5500 lbs dry and empty!) My old boat lift was only 2 years old... suffered a huge depreciation there. The good: My previous ski boat traded in at $8K more than I paid for it 6 years ago! Used it a ton too. Woohooo! e Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congrats on the Nautique. Great boat. color combo looks nice. I was about to buy one a couple of years ago, but need something just a little bigger - we have 6 kids. Went with the Tige.
Awesome boat. I took out a G23 this summer on a test drive and was really impressed. These things have come a long way in a few years.
Thanks and yes they have. My 220 Super Air was still in excellent shape but the comfort, features, and technology made this irresistible. Here's a shot of the interior selections: Image Unavailable, Please Login
love them. We picked one up from one of 88testarossa's neighbors last year to teach our daughter to sail. (pic is a friend and his son taking her out) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very nice Chris, Earl would like to know that your enjoying the boat. Happy New Year! Sent by incredibly fast electrons

The corsair and her new sister (parker 2320) at their new homes. (Boathouse should be done this month (if piling barge gets here) and will not have sides. Will extend pier decking inside 5 feet and add tiki bar under roof. Floating dock launch for 6 kayaks, 2 Paddleboards, and a sunfish. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I know less than nothing about boats, but I simply love the looks of your sail boat. It has such great lines and presence. Mark
She's perfect for the chesapeake. Got a new pivot mount for the gopro so should have some vids this spring. And a neighbor does drone pics/vids so we're going to work on some above the boat stuff.
How many feet is the Corsair? I sail a F31 out of Brooklyn. There are also a Dragonfly and a 39' Corsair at the marina, but I prefer my F31 since I can single-hand it and the build quality is better than the Dragonfly. Image Unavailable, Please Login
she's a 28. Aft cabin but carbon mast so we rate as a standard aft cockpit 28 for racing. We had her built in 2005 after many years racing a Hobie. The new dragonflies are much better than the older ones. You should check one out if you can. (They're heavier but more "boat-like" inside now too than Corsair) Corsair never made a 39… a 37 perhaps? Or a farrier 39 built by a custom builder? what year is your 31? (guessing since it's an f31 not a c31 it was before the Farrier/Corsair split in late 2000). These are great boats!!! more iceboat pics! That is something I've never done but looks great. quick lesson on apparent wind!!!
Norwegian boat windy 28 Ghibli. Windy boats are know in Europe as best quality you can get. Lots of wood, handmade, Volvo penta V8 engine. The Vikings know how to build boats... Image Unavailable, Please Login
My brother in law is the captain of a 130' Westport. Here is a pic of his engine room. It's one of my favorite places on the boat. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Got this boat 2 years ago -- absolutely love it! Great comfortable boat for cruising and "sailgating" at the Vol Navy in Knoxville, TN Go Vols! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah, the 39' was a Farrier that the owner had to finish having built. It later got wacked a bit in Irene (while on the trailer), so he left it in the water the following winter...and sunk it enough (from the heavy snow that he should have removed)...he wrecked the engine & interior. My F31 is '95 with new sails, hatches, tiller, electronics and engine. The rest has held up very well. I've had it for about 10 years. It has an aluminum fixed mast. Never raced it. Mainly a fast day sailer. It rides flatter compared with the F27 that preceded it. Standing headroom inside. Here you go: a bunch of Yankees, but they only go ~75mph, along with a drone pic of the pits where we assemble and break down the boats. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
