I was in Cincinnati today and I didn't see any garages like this. Open anyway. What a great bump! A few of us have new arrangements since 2013. This is what my shop looked like when I left home a week ago. The owner of the forklift is thinking of selling it so it's up front. A pity, it was fun to move around. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mike, I'm thinking you've had the 850 a bit longer than some of the others, Porsche, MG? I had one years ago. Are you enjoying it?
Your right Dirk, have had the 850 over a yr now, still need to finish up lil details before selling but my son really has taken a liking to it so I'm going to keep it longer. Still have my eye on the next car, classic merc SL . What I need is a 4 post lift so I can park more cars in my garage !
I tried 8 different ways to fix that pic and couldn't figure it out. Yep, that's one of my 2 KGs. That one is a 74 Coupe. It's hard to see, but the pan is underneath the body shell. The Pan is fully restored. I haven't had time to start on the body yet, so it's just sitting on the pan (which is sitting on some furniture dollies. I also have a 67 KG, that's about 95% restored. Here's a pic of my 67 on the lift, while the lift is being used to separate the 74 body from the pan. I used large straps to lift the body off the pan. Worked like a charm (my lift is rated at 8000 lbs, so even with the 2 Ghias, it was nowhere near capacity). My wife didn't think this was a good idea, and was muttering something about a Darwin Award when we were doing this. Sid Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Mikey, I just recently saw Greg's Valeo here in Beverly Hills, CA. It now belongs to an Indonesian collector who also has a home state side. Cheers, Hank
Cool, prob will be an absentee owner... he doesn't sound like he's going to be an F chatter. Happy for Greg, made out nicely ! Thanks buddy. -Mike
I'm not sure who owned mine but I bought it from LFSC. (much thanks to Hank for the advice that made me pull the trigger)
