The mods fuched up with the poms 15 years ago when they started banning some famous ratbags who made me LOL, then there was a fight and as they left their last post was "remember the Alamo" which again I thought rather funny ...... As I've said before, I don't agree with the ban on PP (or anyone else, except in extreme circumstances), but part of the deal here is that people have the right to report a post / thread if they feel someone has gone beyond the bounds of good natured ribbing. It is then up to the mods to decide if the complaint has merit and what to do (if anything) about it. As PP has said many times - on here we are all equal. He doesn't get a free pass because he's been here for 20 years or because he's mates with some of you guys. I hope the mods bring him back because the place is more entertaining with him here. I think they made a mistake by not deleting the offending threads as soon as they appeared. If they'd done that, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

Just saw that now. Far too long, and I don't see what difference it makes if it's a day, a week, or next year. And, yes, it is your fault. I guess you were operating on the (entirely reasonable) assumption that no-one would take any notice of anything you say.
My user name are my initials and last name, Y L Shih. The US and European mods don't spend enough time in the Aussie forum to understand when a thread or post goes too far. But if something gets reported to me in the future as "he's going too far" then I'll try to cut it off then before it gets to the point of having to take moderation action on users.
And I suppose this is where we need a more active Mod.....perhaps Pap could be asked to keep a weather eye on things before they get this far.
