Why not support a great local company, Redline?

Shell paid Ferrari to endorse them and appear in the owner's manual and in the engine compartment. My '85 recommended Agip. For enough money, Ferrari would endorse Rotten Robbie.

    Hi

Which Redline engine oil is the preferred one? Redline recommend 5W40, however they say "Thicker oil film at operating temperature than a petroleum 5W40 or 10W40". Would it then be out of spec? Same with 10W40 "Thicker oil film at operating temperature than a petroleum 20W50". Can this cause any issues?

    Regards. Ole Andreas
